Known oil in the US is at about 2% of the total world known supply. Yet we refine 10% of all oil used just from our supply. Obviously this leads to a quick consumption rate for our own oil. Which at current consumption rates will last 7.9 to 11.1 years.
If discovery keep happening at the rate they have been that extends oil in the US to 8.27 to 11.55years.
Even if we were to find a huge oil reserve and literally double from 2% to 4% of total world oil it really wouldn't extend that by much.
i do not know were you come from, but i'm from eastern nc and hope to visit alaska some day and you will be on my list, words will not come to me about your vid, i thought i was there, but hope to be some day, thank you for thinking of others experience than yourself but i know you have to make a living, but i do not think that is what your life is about, its others.
