@xcalic3600 the horse was the leader of a group of horses who wanted to be left alone they killed any human who entered thier valley one day raoh and his army marched into the valley cause they were tricked by a enemy and raohs soldiers were killed by the horses but raoh fought with the leader for a while but in the end the leader let raoh ride him when he ended the suffering of a colt who was hurt by two tigers which were killed by the leader and the horses let his surviving army ride them

@fastold Yeah that was 2 months ago when I was a newbie to the series. Since then Hokuto no Ken became my favorite show ever and I've seen all the episodes of HNK 1 and 2. All the Gaiden series and OVA's too. I know now how Raoh got Kokuoh-Go. A coincidence you replied. Not an hour ago I was looking for another manime and stumbled open Berserk. Now on episode 2. Hope it is as manly as this. I'm so mad I only know about HNK in 2011. All the wasted years watchin giant eyes and childish characters.

@TheDoom13 Make the main fights seem more epic. Hokuto Shinken is too powerful to be tested on an ordinary human body. That's why they explode with just one touch of the technique. The creators are forcing Kenshiro to use more power to defeat his foes and rivals, by making the main ones huge and powerful whilst glorifying the true awesome ridiculousness of Hokuto Shinken. I'm a nerd, so I just had to answer that.

Yeah, that line didn't make any sense at all. Don't these guys know Ken defeated Shin, Jagi, Souther, and most of Raoh's own troops?

Raoh didn't physically defeat Shin, but he did destroy his empire and left him for Kenshiro. So for all intents and purposes he won. Giraque is taking any opportunity to flatter Raoh, that's all.

And in the TV series/manga, Ken defeats Shin with the 'North Star Cross Slash' but Shin chooses to commit suicide before it kills him.
