It was established early on in the series that while the four turtles were raised as brothers, none of them (including Venus) were biologically related. This was done by the writers so as not to eliminate the possibility of a romantic relationship between Venus and one of the four male turtles (with hints leading primarily to the rebellious, quick-tempered Raphael and/or the stalwart, even-keeled leader Leonardo).

Man..... I grew up watching TMNT in the 90s. I saw the cartoon, and loved the movies no matter how cheesy they were. I had no idea that they made a series like this. It actually seems a lot worse than the movies. Maybe it's because I'm a lot older, but this is just bad.

The shinobi thing, in the past there were some arguments on what it was

1. Shinobi was another name for a ninja

2. Shinobi was a higher rank of a ninja

3 (which this show went with) was a warrior whom used dark magic, rather then those that fought their fists, kinda like the sages
