What was the name of the cartoon with the motorbikes that drove themselves, their eyes were headlamps etc? That was cool. I think it had cars in it too that were also alive.
I LOVE gLEN MICHEAL!!!! this was such a great show!!! HAHA! K.XXXXXXXXXX MUCH LOVE! tHANKS FOR PUTTING THIS UP, made me laugh and smile ! COOOL! k>xxxxx stv weekend tv!!! X
i appeared on one of his shows in 1986 when he visited the Royal hospital for sick children in edinburgh they filmed us(the children) for a christmasday show.. many fond memories
@geordiemcf hi wonder if you can help me i think i was on that same show,i was six years old at the time and stuck my fingers up at the cameras.I would love to get a copy of that show so if you have one or anyone else please let me know.
thats new skool glen michael - anyone remember him wearing a mixed rangers/celtic shirt for the 1980 scottish cup final glen michaels cartoon calvacade sepcial - dems the days
Like 6 million other Scots I never got my cards on Glen Michaels show either but wasn't this just the best show around at the time? Biiiiiiirrrrrddd Man! LOL
I got my card on GMCC - a picture of the hulk and me in a boat... I actually missed theprogram, and still haven't seen it. Maybe it's here somewhere - that would be strange, at my age now!
Im still waiting to see the drawing i sent in about 25 years ago, lmao!!! Brings back memories of my brother and i fighting to get closest to the telly, lol!
When he was on at the Palais in Dundee he stayed in a caravan behind my parents house at ninewells-that was in the late 50's. Think he had a daughter called Yvonne.
he came to the miners welfare in the wee scottish village where i lived and it was absolute bedlam! kid's going mental, you couldn't even hear what he was saying. and i got called up on stage and won a model airplane after winning a magnetic fishing competition. i actually had to be escorted out the place cos all the other kid's were going mental and trying to get it off me. what a laugh!!!
Ive met him three times when I was younger. On Arran, at Irvine and of course Glasgow. Needless to say, he appeared grouchier than he appeared on telly.
Needless to say, it made me Sunday more liveable since I was stuck at my grans house, which was bloody dire to say the least.
i miss this, used to watch it every sunday.
