he came to the miners welfare in the wee scottish village where i lived and it was absolute bedlam! kid's going mental, you couldn't even hear what he was saying. and i got called up on stage and won a model airplane after winning a magnetic fishing competition. i actually had to be escorted out the place cos all the other kid's were going mental and trying to get it off me. what a laugh!!!

Ive met him three times when I was younger. On Arran, at Irvine and of course Glasgow. Needless to say, he appeared grouchier than he appeared on telly.

Needless to say, it made me Sunday more liveable since I was stuck at my grans house, which was bloody dire to say the least.

Kids have nothing like we had back then.
