  • THATS BADASSSS ! I LUV IT ! I WAS WATCHING A VID U DID THE OTHER DAY AND MY GOD NEVER WATCH UR VIDS ON MUSHROOOMS IT DIF TRIP WITH YA LOL

  • Can't find your "Life is a Highway" cover mentioned below on your channel or on YouTube search. Is it still up? Thanks for the help! (and great guitar channel in general - awesome work)

  • @efc991 - I have 183 videos uploaded to YouTube. 83 of them are set to 'Private', "Life Is a Highway" is one of them.

  • @MyTwangyGuitar why the private videos/songs? Whats the reason? Just curious.. ty

BTW - Love that Gretch guitar...

  • Great mission statement, Sam! I'm glad you appreciate all types of music, that's a rarity in this day and age! You know, you mentioned "bubblegum music" and of course, you get the naysayers having a cow about it. "867-5309Jenny" has to be one of the greatest bubblegum songs of all time, but I'd like to see some of these numbskulls who would run it down try to play it! Keep up the good work! :)

  • @7isunlucky youre asking about picks, but it doesnt matter at all. the only thing that matter is if you play good or not this beautyful instrument

  • Whats your advice when me and my freinds are having a small jam then my guitar decides to cut out in the middle ive checked the amp no problems there ive switched leads nothing there so im geeting worried its the Jack in my guitar is it a replacing job or is it an easy fix ?

  • @MrDDay15 have you tried checking your battery?

  • straight through the amp?

  • Pretty good. I like how upbeat it is even though this isn't really my type of music.

  • man where do u get the tabs from i see you play alot of amazing rock songs as if u wrote them tell me where do u get the notes or tabs from. and ur e mail because youtube dosent let me post mine.

  • What thickness picks do you use?

  • @7isunlucky - I've used Fender Mediums all my life but recently switched to a 1mm Dunlop pick. It's thicker than a medium but I love the grip that is built into them.

  • @MyTwangyGuitar if you like picks with grips, you may want to check out a brand called "cool"... im not sure if theyre available out west, but they have a rubberized grip on the top of the pick and you can get them in any thickness you want

  • @7isunlucky Since we're on the subject of picks. I stumbled upon Dunlop years ago & was impressed that they came color coded & their fairly wide range of thicknesses was in millimeters. For the longest time I played with the blue one (.079) but am finding the purple 1 mm more comfortable. These are their 'tortise shell' (gripless) ones. I've seen the gripped ones too but never buy 'em.

  • Outstanding!!!

  • Love your tutorials!!!!!! I share your thoughts on enjoying all typed of music!! Thanks again for sharing these videos and tutorials with us all.

  • Awesome job!! Im trying to learn this song from the vid - getting there. Any chance you have tabs?

  • EXCELLENT guitar job,my friend!!!5/5***** :-)

  • Great work. Cougar when he was Cougar ! Remember seeing him in Toronto years ago when he was first breaking big. Wonderland was the venue. I loved playing along with this song. Great Rock and Roll Sam. Thanks and Happy New Year.

  • Your vids are the best! Learning much here from you, keep them coming!!!

  • I am in a cover band , and have gotten so much out of your vids. I know itz an old standard, but i would love to hear your take on mustang sally (buddy guy, jeff beck version) Thankx Sam

  • i'm not going anywhere! thanks Sam

  • You are very inspiring Sam! I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar, and I have watched everyone of your videos, each one is great! I'm glad I found you on here. All I have is a Dobro, and its pretty hard on my fingers, but i'm determined. I'm pretty much a beginner and the strum pattern is kinda tuff to learn for me on just about everthing, but anyway, i very much look forward to more of your videos, they are great!!!!!!

  • @cavykahn - Glad to hear it. I'm minutes away from uploading my newest video - stick around!

  • Thanks for posting this. Our band is doing this song and we missed a thing here and there. I hope you keep crankin' 'em out.

  • cool solo

  • This is pretty great! Thanks for such a great video, woohoo

  • Once Again Right on the Money, thanks

  • Dude you do a fine job!!!!!AWSOME

  • [re: your info comments] Absolutely mate! I think The Edge has said something similar about U2's music. Best music is either simple or sounds like it's simple.

  • Always looking forward to the next video and it never disapoints me.

  • @dedemsvaarder - Thanks for being such a loyal fan, Wim!

  • Great job as always i enjoy your work.

Anyway- MTG-I couldn't ask this before-I ran out of characters! I wanted to ask-how do you ask the record Co. for permission, and/or how to ask for ads on the vid?
