  • This is amazing footage, Great memories

  • My Video on the Gardens is 60 years after, note the difference in the dress. Men and Women were still dressing in 57.

  • Cypress Gardens closed again in Sept. 2009, probably for good. It may become a state park.

  • It's a real shame. Landsouth had a real jem if they would have just listened to Baker Leisure Group, the firm they hired to manage the park. They said they had to invest in the park and advertisements so they can make money a few years down the road. But Landsouth didn't want to do that and now it's closed. Hopefully, someone will come in and salvage what's left of the park and reopen it as it was before the bankruptcy when Landsouth bought it.

  • I wish I could have seen all the old Florida attractions,...Glad this one is still around. Thanks for posting.

  • Nicely done. Cypress Gardens shure has changed since then. It shure is going to change now that Landsouth Holdings owns it. They just made an announcement on Nov 17, 2008 that everything south of the Ski Show Stadium will be closed, including the rides area. The Botanical Gardens and Ski Show will still be there as will the newer Water Park.
