Pyro's concept art is that of a man. If you look at his body build, he's either a man or one ugly cleaning woman. Although muffled, one can tell his voice sounds like a man, and in fact his voice actor IS a man. The Pyro is not a woman; but because it's become such a mystery Valve will never confirm that.
