  • I love it when Ana swears @ 2:30 like that. it sounds so....dirty.

  • Uhhh....I think we should actually be listening to this guy. There are way too many people with college degrees flipping burgers or working as a clerk at jcpenney. And college does cost too much. Self enlightenment? It's called reading a book. Have people forgotten that there is something called educating yourself? Or shadowing someone more knowledgeable than yourself? Institutions are not necessarily to learn at all. I'm a drop out, and I make waaaay more than some college grads

  • @honeybunch2k6 Here's an unintended consequnce: since I'll be trying to pay off my student loans within the next year or two, I won't be able to shop or save as much. If not for my tuition, I would have bought a 2nd car, which would have been money in someone else's pockets. I'd shop more on ebay once again that's less money in someone elses pocket. I think we should go back to the old system of JOBS TRAINING and leave this college bs alone.

  • @honeybunch2k6 O o o and a lot of employers are looking for people who do not have degrees. My mom can't get an entry level position because the employer wants to save $. They want the one who will take the lowest pay and work their way up. This isn't true all the time, but a lot of college grads are opposed to starting at the bottom and feel entitled not to work too hard because they have a degree. the best workers I've seen do not have degrees and they work for less in the beginning

  • I have a friend who attend college to major in animation. She graduated with 100 thousand dollars in debt and have a job cleaning at a movie theater =/

  • Go to college if you can afford it.

  • The trick to a good education is not always the cost, the trick is to persue an education suited to the person ,justifying the cost. Obviously a degree in arts or tech, will not suit a person like this, whom should be a janitor or labourer etc!

  • So apparently when they made this video, they looked at the front page of the site. Then made their video.

    Good reporting tyt

  • many people have been very successful without college degrees, you just have to

choose what what you feel comfortable doing. But to say without a college degree

you are fucked!!! is just wrong & misleading.

  • how about math or architecture or animation and 3d modeling or engineering and programming those aren't strictly ('science' by the way) and those are just a few.

  • I FUCKING OWN MY OWN COMPANY ! i said screw 8 yrs for a major in Electronics !

  • LOL...THAT DUDE DIDNT GET LAID IN COLLEGE...BUT HE IS RIGHT...SCHOOL IS JUST BIZNESS...YOU GETTING FUC´KED IN THE AS´SHOLE...

  • @buakawkaoklai Ha ha. Certainly bad pick up skills. He's so damn lame and frightening. Ladies just scatter to the four winds. Ha ha.

  • I call BS on Ana. First, that video that DGTC made was an introduction to for his future videos to come in which he will cite facts. TYTUniversity highly edited his videos. If your crew didn't edit out his video that you just critiqued, you would know that his name is David Evans that he will explain what to further expect.

You chose the weakest video he made, edit it out of context which was simply an introduction and made ad hominem attacks on him. That's dishonesty on your part Ana.

  • Looking at his body language and his choice of words, the guy obviousy has some severe issues.

  • ana is so wrong on this topic, "If you dont go to college your fucked", there are plenty of people who go to trade schools and technical schools that are much more successful than your run in the mill liberal arts graduate, i think shes trying to justify that her money spent on her bullshit journalism degree was worth it

  • After spending the past 10 years working in fish biology without a degree I can honestly agree and I've heard it from MANY college grads with their B.S. and 60K in debt that its a rediculas notion. I have a friend whos a biologist thats taking a job as a Utility position at a hydro dam because it pays 28 bucks an hour. he's a vet, has a degree in wildlife biology whos throwing it all away to sweep dirt and clean messes because it pays 15 dollars more an hour than a starting job with a degree.

  • I fail some of my subjects in uni and my friend passed all now he is and engineer in microsoft and i am the owner of microsoft.- Bill gates

  • I respect everyone's opinions, of course, but I disagree with Ana in this video. College is awesome, for a lot of people, but you're not screwed if you don't go. I'm in a college program and I like it, but I'm going to take time off after, work part time and get my degree later. Then, I plan to get my own place with roommates, but I don't need a career to be happy. I just need a job and my friends. Who says the world doesn't work that way? Choose the path that's right for you. Follow your heart.

  • There is something slightly off putting about Ana telling me how the real world works.

  • @Zsmart Exactly...what the hell does a 24 yr old know about how "the real world works". She needs to get over herself

  • Sooo according to Ana, you're either working at a coffee shop your whole life or you are a millionaire? There's no in between? Some people just want a decent job to feed themselves or their family. You can certainly get that without racking up 30,000 in debt at college...Ana's just mad because she spent all that time college getting a degree and now it's not worth shit because she spends most of her time on TYT talking about what Kim Kardashian did today. How'd that degree work out for you Ana?

  • For me, I don't care about the costs anymore. At this point, I want to do something I love and not care what anybody says and not care if the economy "needs" it or not. My dreams come first. If I get a really good job out of my degree, that's great. If I don't, I don't care anymore. I'd rather die a happy young man than as a regretful old man.

  • @Dusch4593

I understand you completely. I'm in the same boat. I changed my major from Chemistry (Pre-Pharmacy) to Music. Music has always been my passion and now that i'm in my 30's, I no longer have the luxury of putting it off for a career that I don't like at all. At this stage, I have a job, i'm not concerned about "making it big" or getting wealthy- I just want to be able to express the music that's in my head and heart. Thankfully, my job is helping me pay for school.

  • @Dusch4593 it depends on what you want out of your life..and face it, living a good life is expensive.

  • There is always the military for those that don't want to go to college. You can be sent overseas to go guard some Halliburton equipment.

  • I graduated with a bachelor's in sociocultural anthropology. Now I write students' papers for a living, at the undergrad, grad, and even post-grad levels. Moreover, I write in all manner of subjects I have no formal background or qualifications in--thank you, Google Books and EBSCOhost!

But hey, gotta love the irony. ;)

  • Well, I want to teach and so I have to get a college degree. I know I will have a lot of debt but there are ways to get help paying it off. I also know I won't be making a fantastic amount of money. However, I think the intrinsic rewards will out weigh any financial ones I could get in another field. I would rather be lower middle class and love my job than wealthy and hate it. Plus I just love learning things and sharing that knowledge with others. I find it very satisfying to teach people.

  • ana, your view of college is black & white. You don't think a person without a degree can do well. I joined the Navy after high school and trained as a machinist. I've in my trade for 30 years and am doing quite well. Skilled workers will always have a place in this economy.

  • If you're going into an industry where they base employment on a RESUME, you NEED a college degree to even get a call-back.

If you're going to be an entrepreneur where you start your own business you DON'T need a degree.

If you're going into a field that requires a PORTFOLIO of your actual work then you DON'T need a college degree.

Since MOST jobs in the world work off of Resumes, MOST people NEED a College degree to get a real job.

College should be FREE (Through Taxes) Just like K-High.

  • As a student, I worked for UPS to put myself through. I then left UPS to pursue a Master Degree in England. I now make less money, doing 4 PT jobs, than a starting UPS driver. If I had stayed at UPS, I would now have enough seniority to become a driver, and there is no college education required for that job. Are you sure college is a good idea Ana?

  • HEY If quizzes make you quizzical....

Then what does Chuck Testa do!?

  • I won't lie, I got a boner when Ana said 'You're fucked'.

  • Comment removed

  • YOUR society is BRAINWASHED into thinking the only thing that is of value is MONEY! Education, intelligence, knowledge and respect is more important.

  • @northernsupernova1 What good is all that when your in debt.

  • @KennyEverything everyone is in debt. Weather it is using a credit card, paying off a mortgage or a car, its all the same. But anyway, being knowledgeable and averagely well off is significantly better than being ignorant and wealthy

  • @thepuzzleandsolution I agree there is a lot of corruption in this economy...and the college industry and their student loan scams have put us in an extra TRILLION dollars in debt. Please check out my other videos.

  • How about this. If you don't go to college I'm not paying for your damn well fair.

  • Is it weird that I replayed the part where Ana says "You're fuuucked"? What if I replayed it in 1080p?

  • @ImaniJ maybe if you stopped playing dragon age huh

  • Yeah don't go to college and make my degree all the more valuable.

  • @Umishiru What is your major?

  • @DontGoToCollege why for you to attack it and shit? Just know it isn't philosophy or liberal arts. Keep on convincing people though, the less of something the more valuable it is so thank you.

  • You can learn how to create a 2nd class site, speak in a monotone voice and tell people to disdain education if you don't go to college just like me!

  • @ImmaDwarfKicker I had no choice but to create a 2nd class site because someone already took the name "ImmaDwarfKicker" ;) I don't disdain "education" - it's college industry I disdain. The so-called education they provide is outdated and overpriced.

  • @DontGoToCollege Hey, how about instead of trying to "educate" us with your opinion on college education, you can keep it to yourself :). You don't have to convince the world you were right in dropping out of high school. If you are set, however, on proving to everybody how right you are, you may want to step up the production value a bit. God forbid you misrepresent the anti-college movement. No matter how hard you try, college is still the best available means of higher education.

  • @ImmaDwarfKicker I'm free to make as many videos as I want and you're free not to watch them. I was an engineering major and I am a member of three academic honor societies. No matter how hard I try some people will still get suckered into getting bachelor of arts degrees and getting tens of thousands of dollars into debt for it but I've helped a few people avoid debt so I'll keep making videos. If it's better production value you seek, check out Michael Ellsberg - Forbes magazine columnist.

  • @DontGoToCollege if you arent engineering, science, med, law and business just dont do it unless you have a massive scholarship

  • The most important thing for a high school graduate is to do whatever you can to to reach your dream job. Nine times out of ten, getting a college degree will play a part in getting that dream job. If you're 18 and you have no idea what your dream job is, don't worry. You'll figure it out soon enough.

  • @mochalex hey "NOW" is the right time to join the army.. just when they're pulling out of a war!

  • I'm sorry but she has GREAT HAIR!

  • the benefits of.... college is to.... learn how... to express ideas.... and self... enlightenment and learn...so you don't... talk like... a creeper....and stop...at the middle .... of random.. words

  • @crown0017 ha ha lol...yes I did overenuciate in that video, didn't I? that was the first time I made of video of myself (hopefully I won't overenuciate in the future as much as Obama does) I hope people are not getting their "self enlightenment"by getting into ten of thousands of debt for a dumbed-down B.A. degree

  • Also Ana your contradicting a point you made in a previous video about college students not getting entry level jobs because they are "overqualified." you state that you can't even get an entry level job without a degree in this video but in the other video you state that college students CANT get entry level jobs because employers feel they will quit for a higher paying job in the near future. It really all depends on what kind of career you want.

  • Ana, i think you missed the point of his video. There are many careers that you don't need a college degree. I'm an audio producer and musician and i've spent a lot of time talking with other producers who are already in the field. Going to college for art or music will not land the majority of students a higher paying job. You'll walk out still making around 30k a year but you'll be up to your neck in student loans.

  • Well collage should be free since asking money for collage is partial ban of education and this isn't middle ages. Ban education is ban of free thoughts.

Don't be like this guy don't go by the system change it!

  • College isn't for everybody. Fuck the corporate world!

  • @luckydog12472 And that's exactly why it was perfectly OK to be a laborer or work in a stable factory. Most of those chances have been taken away. The idea that we should all be white collar workers is ridiculous. When you get a job now, more then likely you're too worried about trying to keep it.

  • I hope Ana realizes that she has a job because of entrepreneurs....

  • They do on line College now a days.

  • I'm in a pickle right now. If I don't get a C in the classes I'm taking now, I can't retake them and I can't take any other classes in my degree. So then... I can't advance... what then? All the money I put in to this place will be a waste of time. But hey, at least I got some good old American debt huh

  • @ImaniJ Thats your problem dude should have studied harder.

  • @ImaniJ Why are you getting Cs to begin with? Apparently your education wasn't important enough for you to study before this point. Why worry now?

  • Learn a unique skill - other languages etc.

  • well till they fix it i can't afford it ana =(

  • People who are sheep need a college education survive. They can't come up with their own creative ideas and make a living with their own two hands. There is nothing wrong with that, we need a few sheep in our society. The problem is when society is infested with too many useless sheep that can't contribute anything to society.

  • @Owner46 Wow, your the sheep. Go the college!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Owner46 Anyone that says "There are so many sheep" is usually one themselves

  • Do you recommend community college?

  • @Omegashadowyoshi Yes. At a community college, you do the same classes you would do at a university for way cheaper.

  • @Omegashadowyoshi be careful. CC is "cheaper" but that doesn't mean it is cheap. If your determined to go to college then yes it beats paying 30k a year for 4 years. But just remember that cheaper does not mean cheap.

  • @domino18717 Thanks =]

  • @Omegashadowyoshi Some community problems have excellent vocation programs and some don't. If you are considering taking a program at a community college, PLEASE check with people in the real world to see if anyone actually hires people who have been through that program. Some community college programs exist only to get tax money. Good luck!

  • better question is: do you need a college degree to get a GOOD paying job (250k+)?

  • @joshinbed1 Often times yes.

  • @joshinbed1 But how do you define "GOOD paying job"? That's a personal decision. For me 55-70k would be enough.

  • her nasally voice is sexy i just noticed that

  • is that an animatronic parrot?

    NOPE! Chuck Testa

  • not graphic design, you have to go to college for that as well, unfortunately many graphic design centered educations come from a for profit college.

  • The guy in the video looks like he is wearing really goofy shoulder pads.

  • Does he have shoulder pads?

  • There are reasons not to go to college for many people.

But that guy is a massive advert to go to college to avoid being like him

  • I went to college in Singapore, and we had a couple of guys from the states who came here to get a degree cuz its so much cheaper. maybe tytu can do a little research and provide information about going overseas for college

  • @MaggieRoara Is it really cheaper for a foreigner to go to college in Singapore? If an American really wanted to go to college, going to another country for college, especially Singapore, would be excellent I think. They'd have a better chance of getting a good job in Singapore. Singapore has a great economy. I've been there before and would like to go again. Please send some information about this if you can. I might like to make a video about that.

  • GO TO SCHOOL AND STFU AND STUDY SOMETHING THAT WILL GET YOU A HIGH PAYING JOB

  • I'm an entrepreneur, but I'm dirt poor, so college is my own choice to get a good paying job to fund my investments into my businesses.

  • Has anyone else noticed JR's forehead tan?

  • Get a ba in anything, do two years of teachers college, make 50,000+ usd a year OR work for 25,000$ a year, hope to fuck your job is leading somewhere.

  • Seriously look at most CEO's,CIO's, CFO's or anyone in any private or public service, 95% plus have a Bachelor, Masters or even a PhD/JD or a really high level of education...

  • @emalkin71 The average net worth of billionaires who dropped out of college, $9.4 billion, is more than double that of billionaires with Ph.D.s, $3.2 billion. Even if you remove the world's second richest man, Bill Gates, who left Harvard University and is now worth $53.0 billion, college dropouts are worth $5.3 billion on average, compared to those who finished only bachelor's degrees, who are worth $2.9 billion. College attracts some ambitious people but it does not make them what they are.

  • @DontGoToCollege This argument is purely financial, i don't think a college dropout will ever cure cancer or breed crops to feed the masses... Secondly this whole argument is fucking stupid...by only looking at billionaire college grads and dropouts you're excluding the real average dropout & college grad..

  • @emalkin71 Plenty of dropouts have invented great things...Albert Einstein, high school dropout; Thomas Edison, 3rd grade dropout,, please see my video The Million Dollar Lie that discusses the income differences between average college grads and non-college grads

  • @DontGoToCollege You seriously are retarded. Einstein graduated from Zurich Uni. & ETH Zurich, despite failing his Matura cert. & uni entrance exams he eventually finished high school.. Even Edison was home-schooled..You should look at reality & stop being a dip-shit..No great innovation/invention or product can exist outside the laws of nature...Education allows you explore the laws of nature, whether natural phenomenon, market dynamics etc etc

  • @emalkin71 I am NOT against education. Classrooms are not the only place for education. In fact, in this day and age, classrooms are mainly an inefficient means of educating. Home schooling is a good form of education. I am looking at reality. You can't seem to separate the concept of education from a classroom or a university. Universities may be an efficient form of education if the universities stay focused but most don't. "Uni" means one as in one focus, even MIT has a humanities department.

  • @DontGoToCollege The concept of education & educational institution is so basic.. Secondly nothing is perfectly efficient (100% efficient) classrooms now are evolving to a more efficient state..Your concept of University is retarded as well, its not just about focus its about being worldly...Everything is inter-related, science needs commerce, commerce needs sciences, both need ethics.

  • @emalkin71 I never said that anything was perfectly efficient. The fact that many aspects of life are interrelated does not justify a bloated bureaucracy of a university. Universities offer a lot of dumbed-down majors to make people feel "educated" and take their money for a piece of paper. If you're so worldly and educated and well versed in ethics why do you use such terms as "retarded" and engage in ad hominem attacks?

  • @DontGoToCollege As you stated, sometimes people just feel educated, rather than being so...you unfortunately are the former hence my attacks.. 'Bloated bureaucracy' you're seriously retarded, you always need context to develop a macro view of things (aka perception in 4 dimensions), which u obviously lack.. Its better to be over-comprehensive than less (in this case). I got nothing against Steve Jobs, Bill Gates & others, they had great ideas & pursued them..

  • @DontGoToCollege Um yeah you should look up the difference between insults and ad hominem attacks. You know you could learn that at a place. Ugh I can't think of it..... You know like a place that is designed to educate people. Help me out here....

  • @TMBrd89 An example of an ad hominem attack in the above posts is "You should look at reality." He tried to discredit my argument by discrediting me as a person who is out of touch with reality. He used the fallacy of an ad hominem attack rather than refute the logic or reason of what I wrote. Therefore, he used an ad hominem attack.

Um yeah I didn't have to get ripped off by a place that is designed to educate that would charge me $150 for a textbook just to learn that that simple fact.

  • @DontGoToCollege Actually no, he said that Edison was home schooled, then called you a "dip-shit." The fact that he pointed out that Edison had education to help harness his intelligence WAS him refuting you. You just apparently didn't read.

However I digress, if all you learned from a text book is one fact, then you failed at learning. Intelligence and knowledge are two separate things. You have to apply those facts, practically. Intelligence without knowledge is like car without wheels

  • Comment removed

  • @DontGoToCollege come on try harder. If these people are are arguing with you are convinced to not go or finish then I can make more money. Try harder damn it.

  • @Umishiru Are you arguing that if less people have a college degree then it automatically make you worth more money in the working world because you have one? That may have been somewhat true a few decades ago but it's not true today - especially if the graduate is burdened with student loans. We don't live in the post-World War II economic boom anymore. The real working world requires someone who can get results. In most fields, those with real world experience make the most money.

  • @DontGoToCollege No dip moron. But less qualified people only helps me. I am getting real world experience. I have friend who has a job in the field I am going in and telling me how it is and thus to make sure I really want to do it, and I have an internship. I have learned much and that some classes are merely fluff but that doesn't mean college is useless. If it weren't for college I would have no way in hell in learning what I wanted to learn.

  • Comment removed

  • @Umishiru Dude, stop being an asshole. Didn't see the guy insult you by any means. Shows your,"real," Intelligence.

  • @UIsTall Don't you see this convo was weeks ago and I was merely trolling? This is youtube you know. If you think I take any of you users on here seriously, then you have another thing coming. I show my intelligence in the real world where it counts not on some troll factory of a site.

  • @Umishiru Oh, trolling? Successful troll is almost successful....

  • @TMBrd89 Actually, yes. It was an ad hominem attack to say that I "should look at reality". Talk about a non sequitur. I never said Edison was not educated. Edison was highly educated. I said that Edison was a drop out. He was an example of a drop out that invented many great things. The fact that he received some education through home schooling does not refute this fact. In fact, it bolsters my general argument that a lack of institutional classroom education does not stop one from greatness.

  • @DontGoToCollege try something better dude, how many drop outs turn into Edisons? Its like the famous ric chef to ever other chef ratio. Come on dude. Try harder.

  • @TMBrd89 Intelligence without knowledge is like car without wheels...or a typical college professor.

  • @DontGoToCollege Speak for yourself most of my professor have jobs in that pertain to what they are teaching, like my economics teacher also having a job that deals with the stock market, so besides the text book explanation he also teaches us what is going on from his experience. My programming teacher was a programmer at the Fed Reserve. Your an idiot if your gonna generalize professors.

  • @DontGoToCollege Please read what I write next time. That way we can avoid miss communications like this one. Do you understand?

I said, "you have to apply those facts." College professors present the knowledge. Then you use your intelligence to apply that knowledge to practical applications.

It is not the professors responsibility to stimulate your intelligence.

  • College is avoidable, IF you have the ability to do independent study. If you are not going to college or studying, then you will just be stagnant. Buy used college books and read them yourself, join college aid forums if you need more help.

Autodidact is your word of the day, look it up and use it in a sentence.

  • And secondly "higher education" is different than a college education. A point they failed to address properly

  • The thing is Ann he is right, he offers no solutions but trades people, supervisors in warehouses etc are on boatloads of cash if employed. it is simple for a channel like YT to complain that a vlogger who does a "general statement video" provides no evidence. Not once in this 5 minutes did TYT. The debt etc makes college unattractive. If i were a young person why would I incur a massive student loan debt if over half drop out. In reality that is a 1-2 chance of not finishing

  • WELL TYT your arent gonna fix anything with problems with colleges

so many people like who graduated high school are just gonna work fast food forever

  • Anna said FUCK : )

  • I went to his website and he offers no alternative to college. Jobs barely even hire college grads and doubly more if you don't have any college.

  • # benefit of a college degree: if the US becomes a shithole guess which Americans will have an easier time getting a work visa for another country and a job? Guess which ones won't..

  • CLEAVAGE

  • If no one goes to college then sooner or later people who go to college will get jobs sooner or later.

  • I could care less if college is a scam or not. I had to drop out after my 4th semester at EKU because i couldn't afford it anymore. I want to go back so bad but i can't afford too. I'm screwed.

  • @Spider58x

you could always go to university overseas. Plenty of countries offer full ride scholarships for foreigners to study there. It is possible, if you think you're screwed it is only because you haven't looked at all of the options or thought outside the box for. inbox me if you want links to get you started man. Also what was your major? Please let me know because I know how it feels to be in a rut. you need to finish that degree no matter what!!

  • I really want to go to college but I can't afford it. :/

  • oh ana. you mimicing the guy just made my day. lmaoo.

  • Whats the deal with this guy making videos on this. He doesn't provide any stats and evidence - he should be a politician.

  • It's not that the society has been "brainwashed" but that's the trend of mainstream thinking and the belief that college = a well paying job.

The purpose of College is to make yourself a better person and a smarter person by broadening the way we think. The consequence of this is to increase the number of 'tools' in our toolbox, which makes us into better workers and better people so that we can hopefully make the world better

  • I think he's funny. Humor can be poignant.

  • Oh fuck me Ana is stupid. Listening to her is painful.

  • I'm getting a bachelors in commerce, majoring in actuary.

I can't imagine trying to make my way up any chain without a degree.

  • I learnt myself on the wide web. I got myself a good job at Walmart which is considerd 1 of the most succesfull companies in all america so it does work.

  • @Zsmart I lol'd.

  • Also another thing to look at, is the message of being against education. The last time I checked America already has a problem with the lowest standards of education, this message only pushes that stereotype.

  • yup and all those people who don't have college degrees know someone in the field they want. but if you go to college make sure you know some people before choosing your field. It is a hard path if you don't do it that way. I made that mistake myself and now on my 2nd degree on becoming an engineer in mechanical drafting. I know several engineers to get me some help.

  • your fucked if you don't and your fucked if you do - _-

  • Isn't the unemployment rate for non-college graduates TWICE that of college graduates?

  • @mcjon77 Yes it is!

  • @mcjon77 Isnt the debt for college graduates 20X that of non-college graduates? lol

  • And it is true as more people get degrees the value of those degrees do go down.

  • Ana,s a bit of a cock in this video. College is not the only and best option all the time. And you see how she started to focus on other forms of higher education which do not require you to go to college, which i think is the point the guy in the video is making. Jayar was more on point.

  • Even with financial aide I cannot viably afford college. Exactly how do we begin fixing this tuition issue tytU? I would really like to know. Then again all I want to do is play music. So I'd probably waste four years of my life learning theory, production engineering, ect; that i already know or get a teaching degree and learn a bunch of brats. Fuck college. For me. I can't even get a job at "coffee bean", so there's that issue of never being able to save for college too. My penance for poordom

  • this is true

  • She made herself look stupid when she said "Fucked." typical Liberals.

  • Anas showing her boobs!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAH

  • I'm a philosophy major. I don't really need a college degree to chill with the homies, smoke out, and trip on some shrooms every once in a while (as I do). Moreover, a philosophy degree is, mmm, pretty much the same as not having a degree at all. haha

However! I ain't no scrub. I wanna learn shit. A university is a damn good place to do that.

  • In the modern US economy, there is no more middle class. Without college you can't get a decent job anymore. You will be relegated to hard labor. You will break your back and body before you're 35 and you will be trapped in a market full of Mexicans that will happily steal your $18 an hour job and work for $8.00 an hour.

  • lol anna, the impression of him is so funny

  • people come to scandinavia. college here is FREE infact the government in norway, denmark and sweden will PAY you while you take an education

  • @nybotheveg Iunno about Denmark, but I'm pretty sure you don't get "paid" much for going to college in Sweden. Certainly not enough to live anyway, you need loans too (which I believe you have to start paying back after a while even if you don't have a job). Plus, you need to pay for books and crap, but tuition IS completely free.
