search for desmodromic valves on the internet. if youre gonna own a ducati, you should know a little bit about it because its one of the many things that makes a duc a duc.

i hope you have as much fun with yours as i did with mine! i really miss it now tht its gone. selling it was one of the worst decisions ive ever had to make.
if ur throttle is damaged id change that before anything else if it sticks it high at idle it MAY stick open when ur riding and that would be a shitter if that sticks open at 100+

clicking means you need a valve job unless its been sitting because oil takes a while to get to the lifters

You're not gonna be able to hear clicking valves over the dry clutch. It's like saying you can hear the flaking rockers.

i think it hit the rev limiter at 12,000

It's 11.5k, any higher and you hit the limit. I love it... 155mph with the limit screaming away hehe.

BTW, "clicking" on a ducati means the clutch is doing what its supposed to do.

ur tick over sems high mine idles at 1000 rpm and for a standard clutch case it sounds very rattly maybe ur springs could be due for a change
