  • Elizabeth Montgomery....what can one say...a true jem. R.I.P. She was brilliant on password, so was endora.

  • 6:55 "Prince Valient"! Love this! :D

  • Love those dogs!

  • i have always hated darin!he is soo stupid!

  • this Darrin is sooo much better than the "newer one"

  • Forget that Techaba is Queen of the Witches. Witch or not Darrin is rude. he is supposed to Bow.

  • I want to be able to twitch my nose.........

  • Is the queen the same actress that plays Aunt Clara?

  • @patchesrunner93 No. There is a resemblance, but it's not her.

  • "If memory serves, no President has ever been a wife and a mother."

    Ain't history neat?

  • @rashedly there has been a black muslim socialist though

  • that othr wich is in the parent terap movie from 1961

  • Awsome!

  • y wait till 2012?it already happened queen elizabeth the 2nd did it in the

    1950's.

  • lmao@something suitable like a doormat.

  • No president has ever been a wife and mother? Hmmm, wait til 2012 and we'll see about that!

Durr-butt is being his usual disgusting self. I say turn him into a doormat and make him more useful!

  • This episode was the first one telecast for the fourth season, on September 7, 1967-

  • i liked hepzibah better as the queen of witches than this ticheba person.

  • I hate that loughing track. Why did they have to add that???

  • i agree with dedecim, i love the show, but Darrin's such a boob he makes it hard for people to like his character. I know the men must have been rooting for him back when this show was filmed, but now he seems like an arrogant pig.

  • the only habit of nerves Elizabeth Montgomery ever had was to twitch her nose... jaja so i think that she was only playing with her tongue xD

  • what is Sam doing with her tongue at 2:02? She did that at the beginning too... it looks weird to me

  • Ha! I saw that...it was interesting

  • habit of nerves

  • I personally have never seen her doing like that before, anyway, I can't remember it.

  • "I will not stand here and be insulted by something which is 94% water" Haha!

  • the show wouldnt have been as funny if Darrin just went along with everything. It's part of the charm. This was a fantastic episode.

  • True "

LucyHutcherson " but I some times think he was dumb for not wanting a easy life. .I know I wouldn't have minded her useing her powers. She is smart enough to know when and when not to use them...I'm one guy who would have had no problems what so ever with her useing her powers if she wanted.

  • "and now a special announcement, Darrin Smith will be visited by his mother in law", LOL. really funy.

  • more episodes plz

  • don't be ridiculous yall...she is happy with Darrin....you'd all feel the same way...Sam is different. He is trying to protect her.

  • @alicetheactress

She chose to marry Darrin and live in the mortal world!!

  • @alicetheactress

she chose to marry Darrin and live in the mortal world!!

  • amen to that

  • let's not forget that in the '60 being a perfect housewife was a perfect career for a perfect woman. being anything else was considered to be an eccentricity.

so Samantha is a witch and she can have anything she wants, but she sacrifice herself for Darrin's sake.

but if we think about it, the script would have been pretty much the same if Sam would have had a business of her own (=financial and social independence).

  • What you say is true to some degree, however, the discussion of women's rights date further back than the 60's. This show portrays a woman with any power as a witch! And Dumbo was very repressive- notice how Andora is free to do what ever she wants and that is how she raised her daughter. Sam sacrificed her position for Dumbdumb's sack because the writers also wanted to hold women back as well. I'm a man and all this is to obvious. I still enjoy the show but Im not blind.

  • Um in case you were wondering, the writers did not WANT to hold women back, do some research and I'm sure you'll find that Elizabeth Montgomery was actually a big creative influence on the show [and she was very big on womens rights] and her husband was the producer and director. The writers were just writing a good SITUATION COMEDY...as in the situations of things get messed up nd its funny. like haha. It had nothing against women, its just the way things were and women have come far from that.
