  • Where is the webserver folder in windows 7 I don't have that :/

  • @Ancite5 That is good, you should create a new folder :) See 0:58

  • @LearnWebDev Ok it's saying can not bind now on 0.0.0.0:80 :/ I have skype off and Teamviewer uninstalled...

  • @Ancite5 Search google "How to find which program is using port 80" and you get a link from microsoft answers (3rd one I guess), follow the instructions there.

  • @LearnWebDev Ok I did that and it says that Apache 2.2 is running on it I guess thats a Good thing right? because eariler it wouldn't show up :/

  • @Ancite5 If you browse to localhost and it works, then it's good.

  • @LearnWebDev Yea it does work! Now to install MySGL and PHP :D

  • @LearnWebDev New Problem I can't get the File View Edit Tools option in folder :/ How I get that to show?

  • @LearnWebDev MySGL Server Instance Config is not responing :/

  • @Ancite5 Press alt to show menu, and run instance config as admin.

  • @LearnWebDev Trying to get phpmyadmin to work but it's not showing a list...

  • @Ancite5 Make sure you configured it correctly, and that mysql is running.

  • @LearnWebDev Ok how can I make sure MySGL is Running?

  • @Ancite5 Try connecting to it using php :) var_dump(mysql_connect('localhost', 'yourusername', 'yourpassword')); If it outputs resource, then mysql is working correctly.

  • Whats wrong with you my friend... Are you in hurry... go slow... how did you created two folders with the same name "webserver" damn confusing...

  • @hitleo I'm sorry, I will re-do this tutorial with a voice tutorial soon. The first folder was _webserver which is an old one, note the underscore.

  • @hitleo it's perfect. straight to the point and doesn't take his time talking about shit. just pause every few seconds so you can follow, this is the perfecct sort of tut you want to watch!

  • great tutorial. i am having an issue with php not running. I have followed and uninstalled and redid the installations and still not working. The issue is when i try to get to the local host i just get the script text and not the time as shown in the vid. Any help is appreciated.

  • @milohelp120 No, you need the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package.

  • Too fast & without voice but a beautiful effort!

    Thanks for it.

  • hi, nice tutorial. i have a question though, why did you use the 64-bit version for mysql when you have a 32-bit PC? i downloaded the 32bit.

  • @lateforbus Because I have a 64-bit PC :)

  • Hi LearnWebDev,

thanks for this. i have a question though, why did you use the 64-bit installer for the mySQL instead of the 32-bit? i downloaded the 32bit. is that going to affect anything?

  • Continuation of this series coming soon! Stay tuned!
