Well i was thinking this would not work since i was doing a way differnet layout and im new to this. +!!! you did not speak. But i was able to get it working.... THANKKKKK YOU!! :)
@Ancite5 Search google "How to find which program is using port 80" and you get a link from microsoft answers (3rd one I guess), follow the instructions there.
@Ancite5 Try connecting to it using php :) var_dump(mysql_connect('localhost', 'yourusername', 'yourpassword')); If it outputs resource, then mysql is working correctly.
@hitleo it's perfect. straight to the point and doesn't take his time talking about shit. just pause every few seconds so you can follow, this is the perfecct sort of tut you want to watch!
great tutorial. i am having an issue with php not running. I have followed and uninstalled and redid the installations and still not working. The issue is when i try to get to the local host i just get the script text and not the time as shown in the vid. Any help is appreciated.
thanks for this. i have a question though, why did you use the 64-bit installer for the mySQL instead of the 32-bit? i downloaded the 32bit. is that going to affect anything?
now apache going to 2.4, i follow all the steps but i cant use net start apache2.4!
got error:
System error 2 has occurred.
The system cannot find the file specified.
how to solve it?
hao030834 2 weeks ago
@hao030834 A file's path is invalid, maybe the php extension file?
LearnWebDev 2 weeks ago
When i try in cmd: net start Apache2.2
i get error: A service specific error occurred: 1.
More help available by typing NET HELPMSG 3547.
Any help for this?

hitleo 4 months ago
@hitleo I'm sorry, I will re-do this tutorial with a voice tutorial soon. The first folder was _webserver which is an old one, note the underscore.
