I still think Gallop Racer 2004 is the overall best Horse racing game to date. It just seemed to get everything right.

You Americans are ridiculous sometimes, you live in your Truman Show. But the real world out there. To be a champion of the trot or gallop, it is necessary to beat the champions of other countries around the world, participating to Arc de Triomphe, King George Stakes, Jockey Club ect ect. Your fake champions have won only in the U.S.A , Outside the U.S everyone knows the two best horses in history are Italian. Varenne (trot), Ribot (gallop). @MrItaliano1900 Your talking about the 1930's sir. America was pretty much an isolationist country until WWII, and we were in a terrible economic depression. Sticking a horse on a boat to cross the Atlantic Ocean just to compete against European horses would have been ridiculous. America is a pretty big country with plenty of horses so it was entertaining enough the way it was.

@TheHammerbox It was 1930, but Ribot is always No. 1. See us Italians, or perhaps I should say we Europeans look at the facts. You Americans make movies. Seabiscuit is a film. if I look at the results on wikipedia I see a donkey. Ribot and Varenne are the best in the history of horses trot and gallop and the best jockey ever is Italian from Milan Frankie Dettori. There are not 2 or 3 reality but only one.

@MrItaliano1900 I'm sure both of the Italian horses your speaking of are better than Seabiscuit. There have been many American horses better than Seabiscuit as well. I think you may have missed the whole point of my post... Its all good though man. I'll stick with my Truman Show and movies about Seabiscuit. We Americans get pretty sentimental about underdog stories.
