sandbagging means in the derby world going around just barely tapping people staying just barely under the legal limit for hits. It is a strategy that does win derbies but makes the winner a woose and a cheater. Sandbagging at a party is the one who leaves their drink half full and gets another one. In golf or tennis it is one who under plays their abilities, cheats, to get a higher handicap. In football it is a total slacker who does not perform as well as they can. It is NOT a good thing

A Chevy 350 is a good motor, however they always sound to me like they are loosing compression and not running on all cylinders. Chrysler big blocks are far superior because they can take the heat. My 59 Imperial, #171, ran a 400 out of a 73 Newport that has been through many a derby and is still a powerhouse, oh yeah!! I'll put my 400 up against a 350, and bone dry, any day. Mopar muscle all the way baby! Chysler's only ugly duck motor is the original Imperial motor, the 413.

Well if you ask me the 350 is the best derby engine it can handle the heat... Thats just my opinion im just throwin the big mopor motors in the crush pile if someone wants them come and get them... I have over 5 or 6
