The Israel/Palestine conflict is a perfect example of what happens when politics is combined with religion, and why they should be separate! Israelis and Palestinians will just need to learn to coexist. I do think the country should use Palestine's flag as Israel's flag is an overt religious symbol that is not representative of all its residents. Maybe they should have a two party system like America, the "Israel" party and the "Palestine" party. Then hold COMMON American style elections.

Nuclear technology will not and can not be taken away from Iranians. I suggest a policy shift away from oil towards nuclear and renewable energy. There is nothing Left-Wing about what Glenn Greenwald is saying here - unless you think rational thinking, and basic knowledge, is confined to the Left. If MSNBC were to have Pat Buchanan on to discuss this issue, he would have said essentially the same thing. There are many paleo-conservatives/ libertarians who hold similar views on this issue. Generally, truly ironically, the only alternative voices you will hear within the "liberal" media are heretical conservatives like Buchanan and Ron Paul
