  • we throw billions of dollars of food out in this country each year. It is a control based system based on resources. Ride a bike, walk you will see what it is going on. I told a cop who was pulling a car over on his motorcycle, you just want our money! I know he didn't like hearing that. It is all about quotos in this world. Never question authority? MOOOOOOOOO!

  • great interview peter!

  • When you get to the 5:00 minute mark, listen carfully. After the interview, search;

This carruns on water! Your goverment lies! on youtube. This news broadcast was made in the 80's. The inventer died mysteriously.

  • ????????????????

  • I'd like to address the fact that when the monetary system was put into practice it was done so because there were not enough resources to go around.

However in today's day and age through technological advancement and intelligent management of all the earths resources we can create and use enough resources to go around for everyone

It is time we socially evolve. Bring our social system up to date with current technology. find out more about this on the zeitgeist web site.

  • Great insight !

  • @alontes

wrong money has nothing to do with not sufficient to go around but with slavery and tribute and taxes and keeping track of slaves and crops and all that is slaved....money never was used for good and always used to maintan the slaved ones.

  • So. The little pussies block accounts of people who give them more than they can handle - just on their own message boards.

These guys are junior league idiots, folks.

Never trust a cunt who can't handle dissent on a freakin comment board - these are not real or good men, at all, in any way.

  • Economics 101, the basic reason for the system's existence is there are not enough resources for everyone. Total lie. So why would I want to listen to people that perpetrate a lie? PJ tells the truth of the monetary system. History proves its results.

  • ...and later became part of the Rockefeller family through marriage. The Commission led by Aldrich recommended a Central Bank should be implement so a panic like 1907 could never happen again. This was the spark the international bankers needed to initiate their plan.

Unaware, perhaps, because there was no fraud taking place. Actually what happened was, Nelson Aldrich spent some time traveling around Europe, and believed the English, German, and French central banking systems were far better..

  • ...than what was going on in the US at the time. He was a firm believer in the progressive concepts of efficiency and science; so it is no surprise he wanted a system that worked well, easily, and was stable. He worked with various bankers and economists to design a plan for the central banking system he had in mind. In fact, he promoted a central banking concept that was decentralized, making it hard to believe he was in on any large conspiracy [17][18].

  • Please site your sources. Just because it is in a textbook/paper doesn't make it the truth. A great example of this is how the American Indians were minimalized in US history books. If you think Peter does a poor job of describing the current banking system, have you checked the chart for the US Dollar Index lately; It's inflating(losing value). Remember the law of cause and effect. The fed now owns $130 billion worth of treasuries which is part of the CAUSE, what do think the EFFECT will be?

  • if you go to the website i mentioned, everything is sourced. in case you forgot, it is 'conspiracy science' - just look for the tabs at the top of the page.

of course, the major problem, is that the thing the ZM says are themselves not properly sourced, and it is impossible to prove a thing does not exist.

that said, the site i mentioned tried as hard as they could to track down sources....

you're preaching to the choir about the fed - PJ's just not a worthwhile source.

  • Did you really find that to be worthwhile website??? - I'd seen it before.

  • it's ok. i at least give the author credit for trying pretty hard to track down sources that could confirm or deny the info in the ZM. and what you mostly see, is that PJ is relying on some pretty unprovable stuff - much in the manner that he relied to heavily on authors like AchyraS for his section on religion... a source that itself relies on questionable sources...

  • Have you seen Achyra S's video response to the extremely convoluted Zeitgeist "debunked" (such a redundant and unnecessary word) hypothesis? The "unprovable" facts of religious parallelism can only be found with extensive research of ancient texts, because of course Christians and Catholics did a pretty thorough job of making that info inaccessible. The money manipulation section proves to be empirically valid if you really pay attention. Backed up by historical quotes also.

  • Hi. Yes, I saw it. She didn't offer a single primary source historical document in all 10 minutes of it. All she had to do was NAME a few - but instead, she just disses her critics. She could have shut them up by just dropping a few names. Instead, she danced around it for the whole thing. It was pathetic.

'debunked' is the proper word choice for the occasion - not sure why you think it's 'redundant' in any way.

oh ya - I'm also "ThinkAgainDude". The pussies blocked that account.

  • @TheEgoTamer

problem is she could not use any names because they all exposed her as wrong.

  • oh ya - have you signed the petition yet to audit the fed (HR 1207) ?

If not, go to the Campaign for Liberty website , and you can.

    good luck out there....

  • oh ya -

but, if it's mentioned in a movie, it IS a 'true' source?

want a better source on money? check out Chris Martenson's website. The man's a PhD scientist, holds an MBA, and was VP of a fortune 300 company for 15 years. He's more qualified to speak on every subject in the ZM.... it's an excellent, calm discussion of the fed, money, etc, minus the catchy mucic, etc. Watch his free video "The Crash Course" . Very well done piece of work.

  • Check out "The Money Masters" - it has no affiliation with Zeitgeist. It's hosted by google. Peace.

  • i saw it - it's prolly wht PJ patterned his own stuff on...

I'd still prefer the work of trained economists, etc.

Chris Martenson. "The Crash Course". Excellent work by a qualified man. Non hysterical, calm, rational.... about 3.5 hours long, but worth the time.

  • I'm on the fence about it. I'm not leaning either way. Even if there was data to the contrary of the film I feel that both sides (for and against it) need to be challenged. The best way to do this is to actually try these principles on an experimental basis by supporting it. This will give enough proof for or against it to make a conclusive decision. We can speculate and argue logic all we want. It's just words. But we'll never know definitively until we try it scientifically.

  • Cool Quote: You've been blinded, quite literally, but the implants in your brain make you think you can see, when all along you've just been watching a movie, a movie that you firmly believe to be reality. "It must be the truth," you shout, "I can see it with my own eyes." Todd Zuvich

  • Funny - the folks who LITERALLY base their 'awakening' on a movie, think themselves exempt from that criticism.

    gotta love irony.

  • Not at all. The info regarding the federal reserve and the fractional reserve banking system is as accurate as you can get. Please debunk it for me.

  • The info regarding the federal reserve and the fractional reserve banking system is as accurate as your gonna get. Please debunk it for me.

  • I never said anything about that section. As a description of the problem, it is minimally sufficient. And that's fine.

But what of his proposed solutions? The Venus Project? Technocracy? This is where it all breaks down.

Like, everyone agrees that Cancer is a problem, but not all the advice on how to fight it, makes sense. History is rife with snake oil salesmen. Some of might even have good intentions.

See my other comments to "CanadaForce" for elaboration.

  • i'm going to pm you some stuff from a website that gets into the banking bit, and addresses the weak treatment of the issue by the film - it's simply too much text to put in these tiny boxes.... but suffice to say, PJ does a poor job with sourcing - often quoting documents that only seem to exist on certain conspiracy websites, but not so much in any physical location on earth. other times, he simply gets things wrong...

  • oh - you have friend lock on. well, here's a long cut and paste from the 'conspiracy science' website's section on ZM Addendum...

"Trying foot the blame on JP Morgan for the 1908 Bankers' Panic does not stand up to historical facts. The biggest contributor to the panic was actually the Knickerbocker Trust Company, which copied speculation tactics of Charles W. Morse, who had obtained Bank of North America and several other banks to float consolidations schemes.......

  • In any case, JP Morgan actually helped the situation when he organized a team of bank and trust executives. This helped avoid complete economic ruin for the American economy by redirecting money between banks, security international lines of credit, and bought stock of healthy corporations to keep them from bankrupting.[15]

Unaware of the fraud, the Panic of 1907 led to a Congressional investigation, headed by Senator Nelson Aldrich, who had intimate ties to the banking cartels.....

  • These people who are so contrary on this thread really suck the life out of everyone, heh? Stop feeding them your energy; stop arguing with these 'negative Nancys' and think positive. If we REALLY prove them wrong we need to lead by example and start acting instead of talking. Grow a garden and get off the grid. The more solar panels you have.. you can sell energy to your neighbor to pay your bills while we're still in a monetary system.

  • You make it sound like those of us who distrust or don't respect the ZM weren't already doing those things- well before Peter told us to....

And come on now - you can't be practicing logic/science if you aren't getting your hands dirty in the process of debate, data, challenges, etc... i mean, otherwise, you're just practicing a new religion.

it's all about the (lack of) data.

  • Here's a thought:

Take the "zeitgeist challenge" at "zeitgeist challenge (dot) com....

Nobody can back up any of the mythology stuff with PRIMARY sources.

But, if YOU can, you can win money.

    Good Luck!

    (lolololololol)

  • you can argue the details all you want

I never said the zeitgeist movie was 100% right.

I agree with the overall message and that is there is something very wrong going on here.

We have so much technology and we have more knowledge than we've ever had before about how this planet works and yet we "naively" glorify the destruction of it and the people in it like its some big inhumane game that can never be won.

We have detached ourselves from nature and ill do what it takes to change that

  • your overall sentiment, i agree with.

but the technocracy thing....not so much.

  • nice backpeddling.

whatever. you guys are just diddling yourselves. nobody cares.

  • "opening so many peoples eyes to whats really going on with their lives."

That one phrase right there marks you as an easy target, man.

Oh, how many religious zealots have said this of their gurus....

    I weep for you.

    (not really...)

  • Scared? Why would you say something so dumb?

    I just think he's a prick.

  • oh ya-

he also says that debates are good - that all opinions should be welcome - and that we should embrace being proven wrong.....

    LOLOLOLOL

Join the ZM message boards and watch what happens when you put that into practice. Try actually engaging him in a chat some time, and discover for yourself what a pious little prick he is.

There's a good reason 95% of the folks on his site are under 30 - it's called "being naive".

  • Where did you come up with the statistical data to say that 95% of the people on his site are under the age of 30? Did you go around the site and take a survey?

  • It was an informal poll that the users took back when I used to be on the site.

The average age at the time was about 24.

There were only 2 people I met older than myself (36).

But, go ahead and join the ZM message boards, and discover it for yourself.

  • Really because I've been on the site, and there is no poll at all. Could you link me this poll? I would love to take it.

  • did you see the word "informal" in my post?

but hey - just go do it yourself - take a poll. see what you get.

no reason to take my word for it, right? seek, ask, compute, decide..... and I have a hunch you'll come to a similar result.

  • past a certain age, utopian futures and over-simplified explanations of human behavior become pretty hard sells.....

i really wanted to like those guys, but they didn't take kindly to people who question them. it was exactly like debating with fundamentalists.

i truly wish it were otherwise. the good intentions are teeming, but the Pied Piper Peter has led them sadly astray.

  • What flaw do you see in Peter Joesph's and Jacque Fresco philosophy ?

  • mainly, that they make unfounded claims. for example, I have requested data from the VP concerning their analysis of resources - how much we have, how much we need, etc...they make many claims about things, which are not backed by any kind of mathematical analysis. that's not science.

and PJ makes many statements about the nature of human behavior, which similarly are not rooted in any of the mountains of available research on that subject, either.

they state as fact what remains unproven.

  • in so doing, they are practicing 'pseudoscience'. i understand that Fresco has invented stuff, and is a sort of self-taught engineer - which is very cool. but before he asks people to donate money to his project, it would be nice to see what data/calculations he is using to make decisions by.

and similarly, it would be nice if PJ would avail himself of the research done by behaviorists, before he makes specious and unsubstantiated claims about the nature of conflict, too.

    basic stuff.

  • Peter is completely full of shit people.

He pretty much doesn't know anything about any of the many topics he tries to talk about.

He's just a giant ego who loves having a following.

Try joining the ZM message boards, and being a dissenter, and watch what happens.

Stop looking for leaders, and be your own people.

Peter, you're a piece of shit.

  • you can't be serious...

this guy is trying to help save humanity and essentially the world from its devastating flaws

and that makes him a piece of shit how?

    ignorant much?

  • how do you know what his motives are? are you him?

he's a hypocrite. he's rude. the people who run his website, are pricks.

he pretends to support dissent, but he censors people who disagree.

LOTS of people are out here posturing as heroes, all because it feeds their egos. It's stunning how much behavior is 'attention maintained', when you know the research.

He isn't DOING, anything. And there's no issue he talks about that isn't already being addressed by better qualified people.

  • I've read your posts and all I'm asking you to do is "thinkagaindude. Peter Joseph simply understands that our social system is a failure, and is merely asking you to lay your preconceived notions aside and look at the system he advocates with common sense. It is not about the capitalist honor, reward, money, or shallow notariety he is looking for. He simply wants to advocate the world we ALL deserve. ALL would benefit. What is selfish about that? If anything, it's indicative of maturation.

  • i think you're wrong. i think it ALL about notariety for him.

the 'system' he advocates, is literally identical to Marxism. If you don't know that, go read Marx.

There's another subject he's unqualified to speak on - science. resources. alternative fuels. all that stuff.

    patently ignorant nonsense.

  • I DO know what his motives are...no i am not him but it doesn't take a person with a half a brain to realize that what he is doing is noble and with the best intentions.

He is DOING something by opening so many peoples eyes to whats really going on with their lives.

oh and where are those better qualified people?

and why haven't I heard of them?

is one of them Jacque Fresco?

I know he is better qualified than peter and they still both make the same point!

What are you so scared of? change?

  • No, you don't/

And the very fact you THINK you know, is just sad. It's impossible - and indicates how little effort you put into being sure about things. And of course this is true - how else could you believe all the crap he peddles, unless you were an easily led sycophantic child.

I already listed who. Go back and look carefully, man. If you know how. Scientists. Historians. Behaviorists. Etc.

Anything he said about 9/11, for example, I can debunk in minutes.

    Try me.

  • All he's 'doing' , is making sensationalistic agitprop, which floats entirely disprovable conspiracy theories, and posits entirely UNprovable solutions.

He's not inventing new energy sources, helping poor people, or anything of actual substance.

He's a demagogue. Pure and simple. He's just too arrogant to know it yet.

There really is nothing new at all in his films, either. I literally learned not one new thing.

Think of him as Michael Moore - is he really helping others?

    [

    No.

  • Would you please tell me what "better qualifed people" you are speaking of that are attempting to promote awareness to the monetary system we have in place as inherently corrupt?

I don't know about you, but it is common sense that a system that promotes competition for primary needs will automatically leave some people starving to death because other will horde resources. It' s just that simple.......common sense.

  • ya.

and pat robertson just wants to save your soul..

    LOLOLOLOLOL

    (good one, I know)

  • First, Peter Joseph is not a leader - quite the opposite. He rejects any position of leadership. He discourages people from taking his word alone as truth. He encourages people to do their own research. He criticizes others who try to assume positions of leadership. I can site all of these if you want.

Second, when you revert to calling someone a "piece of shit" when you disagree with them, that invalidates all of your opinions about everything. No one will ever take you seriously now. Thanks.

  • unlike PJ, I don't care if you take me seriously. I'm not seelign anything, and I'm not trying to "lead" you towards any action.

and not, it does not invalidate my opinions that i think he's a disingenuous, hypocritical, obnoxious piece of shit. That's dumb to even say.

  • What topics are you referring to that Peter Joseph is not knowledgable of ? Please share this with me, as I'm interested.

  • Human Behavior. He thinks he understands it, but he doesn't.

9/11? I can disprove everything he said about it.

History of Christianity/sun gods? He got so many things wrong....

Who'd be better qualified? Behaviorists, on behavior. Scientists and Detectives, on 9/11. Historians, on history.

    clear enough?

there are entire websites dedicated to debunking his lousy arguments one by one.

'conspiracy science' i think is one (?)

    he's just a hack.

  • It is irrelevant to study animal or child behavior and apply it to humans who have FREE WILL. Even if the human will be tempted by these instincts (for example: a hot wife), his free will shall dominate his instincts and his emotions. The problem in society today is that people do not understand this, they think that just because it is an emotion or because that is how animals behave, they must do the same, without acknowledging that they are in full control. This is the conditioning.

  • so.

they blocked my primary account, because my arguments destoryed them. just as they banned me from their message boards.

they are weak, and their ideas, it seems, are unable to exist in a world that critsizes them.

this is the behavior of tyrants, not lovers of freedom and open ideas, as they lie about being.

do not trust these people. they are not good men.

PJ - i hope you get aids. i really do.

  • Who are you reffering to and what is your arguement.

  • Check you mail. And your comments on your main page.

  • Does anyone know if there are anymore Zeitgeist documetaries in the works?

I've seen part I & II & would love to get my hand on the next installment, that is if it's in the works..

  • The Zeitgeist website says part III will come out in October.

  • Great!!

    Thanks for the heads up..

  • so much inspiration.. . - love to Peter Joseph and to all people out there "good or bad" - cause you good people need love to keep on struggling and the bad needs love to stop acting in fear !

The zeitgeist message needs to be expanded with love...

  • I love this guy- he's just like me on a million tangents. it's so hard to stay on one little subject when you're full of a million.

    XD

  • Daranen - Now you may realize why our offspring seem almost pre-programmed to resist us as we resisted our parents.

I am pleased to see so many have managed to "make it" this far regardless of however many years of programming :)

That is the "spirit"... The essence of mankind.... IMHumbleO

  • = ]

  • Theres a bank run planned for April 17th. Withdraw your cash except for $17.76 !!!

  • Why that exact amount of money?

  • I love his Altruistic way of thinking.

  • While the masses are riding bicycles everywhere and living in shacks, Al Gore will still be riding around in SUVs and living in mansions.

  • Typical. Spew your indoctrinated, programmed response while actually having no idea of what the Venus Project proposes. There is no government, no politics, no politicians, and no money. Everyone in the world has access to everything in the world. Noone lives in a shack. Everything is free for everyone. This is not socialism, there is no "elite class"... why don't you actually read what the Venus Project is all about before you make an ignorant judgement.

  • I know what the Venus project says. Do you think Al Gore and the other elite assholes will follow it? What i said in my previous comment is why they push global warming so much. The millions of chinese riding bicycles dont do it because they want to. Rich countries are making their people into poor chinese, but making them WANT it to "help the planet".

  • Sure, Al Gore won't have to "follow it". However, if the rest of the world is embracing this project, then it doesnt really matter what he follows, and it certainly doesnt put anyone else into shacks or force them to ride bicycles. You're judging the venus project withnin the context of the current society. I understand what you're saying, but you're not quite stepping back far enough to see it all.

  • I see you removed your reply to my post. We are on the same side bud lol

  • What I don't understand is how people think we can make a world better for all without including everyone. If we can ever get to that, it would be a new world order, but not the same as everyone associates NWO with where government and corporations control everything. Are we suppose to make things better for half the world so it isn't labeled NWO?? People need to let go of one minded thinking. Anything that says include everyone is bad?? Get real.

  • Comment removed

  • Zeitgeist starts with obvious truths, like politicians are corrupt, the Federal Reserve is a greedy non-governmental cartel of bankers, but then says capitalism is bad. Not that the corporations and the Federal Reserve that control our economy have demonized the free market system, not that the Buildaberger Group, that control all world governments and the U.N., use wars to kill the masses, genocide. Zeitgeist is the video brain washing, spin doctor, for the New World Order

  • The point is that the elitist corrupt rulers are a natural byproduct of the monetary system. There has always been some type of "NWO" through history. They are a direct byproduct of the scarcity based monetary system. Get rid of the monetary system and the elite lose all power! There is no other way to remove the corruption and elitism. Think bigger. The corruption has always existed and always will in a monetary system based system.

  • The most insidious facet of this corruption is the one that is planted in human minds through education and conditioning. The walls that these tools raise in our heads like floodgates make it very hard for every human being brought up that way to think freely. That's why virtually everyone thinks that you have to "earn" your life, by working nearly 8 hours a day for the system before coming home and waste your free time on mind-blanking activities. That's why we've come to see normality in this.

  • I've always thought food and housing was a human right everyone on the planet was entitled to have. All The monetary establishment has ever created was pain, war, death, inequality, crime, stress, drug use, debt, slavery, scarcity, deprivation, and misery.

  • He did his homework...thats for sure. I've seen both Zeitgeist movies, and I love them, not because of entertainment but the reality that they present, and it's very hard to deny that reality with the proof that is presented along beside it.

  • I lol'd

  • System of a Down

  • it's ok ur point of vue. but, if we think one second, for example, about 'the island'... well, sorry friend, but i dont want to live with u there. that's sure. and i dont see really how can the 'venus island' be different. look, i m nice guy just looking for answers. i really want live in one better world. but whem someone show the way saying: 'go, this is the way to the heaven!'... well, u know, i m f***** human. i like wine, i like sex, i like live free. sorry that but i choise my freedom.

  • Island?? I'm sorry, I don't get that. If you follow the venus project, they don't talk about heaven. They admitted that the world won't be perfect, but far better then it is now. I like sex and freedom too. They don't talk about taking those things. Thats something you came to all on your own. I would suggest that you go to the site and read about it in more detail. Also you are only as free as the money you have in your pocket. Try gettin the wine you like with no money.

  • I think it is very silly to believe a man that has devoted almost his entire life proposing these ideas, being ridicule and has had many people say he lacks the credentials to be taken seriously, that his idea, The Venus project, the project that would take away the things that gives the people in power their power is what they want in order to form their NWO. LOLOLOL. Well hey, I guess anything is possible no matter how stupid it may sound lol.

  • Ahh so they want a new world order where everyone is equal and the things that gives them the power becomes obsolete. Try opening your eyes. If the things that the venus project proposes comes into play, what power will they have. If you really think about it, it will be a new world order. But you associate new world order as being controlled by the greedy people that has screwed it up. So tell me how would you go about trying to make the world a better place if you don't include everyone??

  • ... waiting on the world to change .. Finally, A guy that's on my level ^.^

  • Some body needs to get him on The Howard Stern Show

  • Holy shit... I cant even imagine...

  • This guy should be running for President not McOld, and B-Rock Obama!

  • Don't be so naive venus project is the beguining o the New World Order

  • Yes, it would be a new world order, but not the one where the rich and powerful will be on top. A new world order where we use reason, logic and care for each other. It's about sharing to the point where having more would be meaningless. Thats a new world order I can live with.. EASILY.

  • And?

  • u r not allow to say that.

  • At '4gotten1s'

If you seriously belive that people have to have religious beliefs for them to have purpose in their lives then you are a complete and utter moron. people do things knowing there is nothing after death because they want to make the most of the time they have alive.. OK?

    At 'PerpetualSunshine1'

if humanity works together much more can be achieved than working against each other. AND i don't agree that making an A-bomb or any weapon for that matter is an achievment.. :\

  • Maybe you should switch off tv first, and start reading more books.. (Sorry, I was just honest.)

  • I'm sorry, i don't see how "think for your self" way of thinking can be a wery good way of creating sheeps? I belive Venus project will inspire more than anything else, sure we wont make so many weapons but more art, emusement and progress.

  • You know what really puzzles me: why do we allow it? Why do we allow men who don't work or contribute anything meaningful to our lives to control us? Why do we allow this monetary system to be in the hands of unelected, immovable parasites? Why do we allow them to leech onto our flesh and our children's flesh in this insidious fashion? There must be a way to stop it.

  • Why do we allow it? I think because we've been conditioned over the centuries to believe that we don't really have a choice but to listen to our "leaders" and that there is a "ruling elite". If Zeitgeist & Zeitgeist Addendum both do nothing else, it forces people (who are willing to actually WATCH the film) to think about HOW WE THINK and HOW WE'RE BEING TAUGHT about the world around us. The films are like Toto pulling the blinds revealing what is hidden in "The Wizard of Oz".

  • The Zeitgeist movement is very exciting. I think it is the future. Great ideas. I dumped my TV already and it has freed me up to think about the clap trap they always pump out day after day.

  • Just as George Carlin nicely put it :D

"To sit down in the kitchen table to figure out how badly we're getting fucked by a system who threw us overboard 40 fucking years ago"

  • now whos the blind fool. and into the pit u fall. these people hv the popes money behind them just like hittler did. same person diffrent coat. Yes you will be the first in line to wear the new uniform of the new order. and knock on doors to drag people to the streets. in blind fith.

  • what the hell are you talking about. Go away and leave us alone you weird freak.

  • leave u alone? whos the weird freak now. u think its called peel tower tube. its people like u that the world is the way it is. because of ur own self doughts and short commings iyou try put every one eles down because u cant cut it in the real world. put ur head in a bucket of water and stay there fool. so the rest of us can fix the shit ur kind started.

  • You know, I have seen the proposals of the Venus Project, and what I like about it is that almost everything can be achieved! not to mention the things that are already underway, such as the self-erect structures, I know this can be done, I am saying this as an aspiring engineer. Yep, only greed and blindfolds are holding us back...

  • Before i saw zeitgeist i was hopless for humanity because of what jfk once said " either humanity ends war or war will end mankind". And i agreed with this also with the notoin that peaple are to stupid to stop killing eachother. I was never able to fathom a solution to this probelem so i saw no hope for peaple. It gives me pride to know that there is hope for the generations to come. maybe one day peaple can wake up to a world without war, crime, and theism. maybe one day ,there will be peace.

  • I actually think you're limiting your view too much. Going to the store? We could have cooked, fresh, ecologically grown meals delivered to our homes by canisters travelling through vacuum tubes, just like some malls have moneytubes going directly to the bank's vault. Food is gonna become as taken for granted as tapwater is today :)

  • awesome movement, cant wait to get more involved...

  • This is going to spread like wildfire, because it speaks truth. We can recognize this truth inside ourselves, and know this is right! A change is coming, either we stand together and create the world we all know could exist, or we suffer at the hands of the few families leading the pack. As Jimmy Hendrix said, we will know world peace when the love of power is replaced by the power of love!

  • This may sound like a silly question? but were dose this leave us. spiritualy. is there an after life. what happens to the self(so to speak) do we go on, do we remmber this life. Zeitgeist dosent give thses answers. it just tells us to throw down our chains, for what a better tomorrow, were one day some one eles will put them back on us?

  • Well, when we die, we go back to the earth. It doesn't have to seen as a bad thing. Think about what Richard Dawkins said: The chances that you were born on this planet were extremely improbable. It should considered a gift to be born, and knowing that you won't live forever, should be the reason to live THIS current to the fullest, holding nothing back.

We're evolving from a type 0 civ. to a type 1civ. When we all see eachother as ourselves there is no reason for going back to classes.

  • It doesn't suggest any incredibly specific spiritual avenues to take, but it does heavily enforce the concept of oneness, humanity, and continued essence.

The concept that every human lives on the same earth, with the same problems, made up of the same matter and ever recycled energies. So, it kind of supports in an underlying fashion the concept of all energy in nature never actually dying, but living on through the death of individuals in nature, so in a way, all human essence living on.

  • Does it have to? No one knows for sure exactly what atoms, molecules, cells, synapses and so on that makes up consciousness. We're getting there though, scientists are right now starting to understand how memories form and are stored in our brains. They probably all go away when we die, which might make it seem like this life has no purpose. But hey, there's nothing that anyone can do about the fact that we'll all die one day. We all just have to deal with that.

  • Eternal life is aurguabley the most horrific torture that any being can go through. Think about it. You might have fun for the first million years, but what about the next million. or the trillion after that. this is never goin to end you stuck for eternity. without death there would be no reason to do things. Eternal life would rob you of purpose and it would go on for eternity after eternity.death gives our lifes meaning, a sense of urgency, gives us purpose.

  • So nothing really matttters then. if there is no after life.there would be no reason to do things. death gives our lifes meaning, only if there is some thing after it. other wise whats it all for. if it comes to nothing. so what ur saying is ALL matter is nothing. so why dont those who dont belive just give up now. why live? why build? why go throught the feeling u do if there is nothing to show for is after? Or do you have hope?

  • Life is what you make it. If you want a hopeless existense then go ahead. I find purpose in my life through music but others find it through ddiscovery. Things that will live on long after im dead.I believe that just for the sake of looking at the night sky, listening to musical masterpeices, and witnessing amazing specticals is enouph to have purpose in our lifes.

  • Our lives have more meaning if there is nothing after it Mr. 4gotten1s. The fact that it is finite makes it more precious, not less. We build for the vicarious knowledge of the joy others behind us will enjoy from our efforts. Look into the eyes of you children and tell me then that effort is wated. Stop being selfish.

  • If you enjoy humiliation and defeat, then by all means, continue to provide me sport. i don't fear the hammer of a gun without a bullet. and you are most decidedly unarmed. you are as likely to produce a piece of evidence as show a grain of sense. your disregard for reason is assurance of your impotence.

    goodbye.

  • What I enjoy is preying on those FullOfIgnorance, and a refusal to learn what they weren't taught growing up. Kind of like christians.

  • ah.

    thanks. i'll step aside.

  • Whoa! Such anger! I think you cured some of your autistic students with this holy rage.

  • so you really have no excuses or regret for you bigotry, huh?

so let's see...you don't know your own argument, you are a bigot, you lie, you put words in people's mouth, you make unfounded assumptions (constantly).....

    "F" in life my friend.

  • Wait, so I was suppose to go F myself, but I am your friend...

So therefore, you like and have friends that F themselves and their sisters? LOL!

  • i just gave you the standard rebuttal to a "loaded question" ... (well, "have you stopped beating your wife is the textbook example - i just like saying fuck). It's also "begging the question", but more the former than the latter.

    you've studied logic, right?

  • What you have been giving everyone on these comment boards is ignorance, that's all.

  • I am well enough familiar with my capabilities and powers of understanding. your Gurus posture in the garb of science, and never pay the scientific courtesy of data to be validated. it is dishonest, and to be reviled. i take offense to fakirs, charlatans, and bigots, as yourself. my function is to push and prod until that weak facade is cracked, and sensible men may return to rational pursuits, and to meet like minds along the way. you are but a stone upon which I sharpen my tongue.

  • Your function is bringing America back to the Gospels, which is bullshit to a lot of us.

Your views match AJ's so well that I can't understand why you would waste your time here. Go help the followers of AJ understand why God is good.

  • there is no sound ! does anyone else have this problem with this video or is only me?

  • given the fact that in the end we are likely to start running out of materials, i see the future not as some cornucopia of "resources", but in many ways, more low tech than today. not tech - free , but certainly with less of it.

  • Yes, you need to go back to the caves, so the rest of humankind can progress and flourish. Stop holding us back christian freemarketeers!

  • almost forgot - hydrocarbons from oil. so far, as we know it, nonrenewable. once it's burned, its gone. and beyond powering cars and heating homes and such, we make thousands of products from it, like computers and medicines, among them.... and we are running out.

  • if you took into consideration the other resources we can recycle from all of the cars, buildings and gadgets we use that could be a wealth of metal in itself...I'm not an expert at any of this, I'm just giving my suggestion

  • it is a very good suggestion! i just want to hear some numbers on estimate tonnage of said materials, etc....that's all. until then, we have no reason to believe this concept. and also, not all resources are readily recycled - like certain food sources, for example. but i am an active recycler myself, so, i like it!

  • thank god - another sane person.

  • Funny. I taught for 10 years too. Focus was in ABA therapy for autistic kids...studied behaviorism...and I think Peter is WAY off base. But hey - why does anyone need to "believe" anybody here? Aren't we pretendin to be scientists? Don't scientists use data? Where's Peter's? Oh ya- he has exactly none.

    brilliant.

  • Neither Fresco nor Peter actually present any of the evidence they ever claim as the bases for their scientific perspectives.

If they really were as "scientific" as they claim, they'd share some footnotes, some peer reviewed sources, etc. But unfortunately, they aren't interested in peers, they're after followers...

  • Actually they've been slowly composing a list of their resources.

Here are a couple if you're interested:

ZEITGEIST, THE MOVIE PART 1 'COMPANION GUIDE' (This addresses the claims on religion in part 1 of the original Zeitgeist)

Confessions of an Economic Hitman - John Perkins

The Best That Money Can't Buy - Jacque Fresco

Web of Debt - Ellen Brown

Modern Money Mechanics - Produced by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago

  • So now your a teacher also. How great the internet is. Anyone can be anyone here!

Should I go fuck myself again? LOL!

  • Isn't the behavior of autistic kids a little different from the behavior of other people?

  • yes, very much so. my only point in all that is that i have had the opportunity to study behaviorism, and also, to see the impact biology can have on behavior.

  • sounds interesting, based on no reality. most people's problem isn't no educaiton ,it's not being a continual self-educator - and not being a critical thinker.

  • sorry - sounds pretty, based on no reality.

  • When I was a kid we always had so many apples around the house. They were all over the place. We never fought over them.

Here in Japan...(living here now)...apples are really expensive and kids don't get them often. They fight over them.

  • anecdotal evidence, isn't.

  • Yeah same here. I know for a fact that about 95% of the people that critisize this either don't know enough about it, or is just trolling.

  • Anyone who falls for this bull has not read any of the NWO documents. Read "Mankind at the Turning Point" the 2nd release by the CLub of Rome for example.

All of Fresco's ideas are there plus more. Who knows, maybe you'll agree with it... and it'll inspire you to support obama or something.

  • Here's an example of Peter's bad logic. I heard his Coast to Coast interview. A caller mentioned his baby, who will steal a ball from another baby. Peter said, predictably, "because of scarcity". Well, if Peter knew anything at all about kids, he would know that even if both kids ha da ball, there are many who will still want that second ball too.

He doesn't know shit-all about human behavior or psychology people. Think for yourselves, ya dorks.

  • Yes, i was listening very carefully to what Peter would answer there and he did not answer very good. But the fact of the matter is he is right in 98% of all things he says. Come talk with me I'm a better candidate. Now why would the kid want the second ball? Well let's try this experiment with a 16 year old who can think in abstract. Will he want the second ball too? 3 year olds do not even have a conscience so I do not see why you mix this with human free will.

  • You're just a fucking idiot who thinks within the system. You think wasting your money in college makes you smart? Think again.

You come on here and start making retarded, uneducated assumptions and you think people aren't going to call you out on it?

  • hmmm...insulting college and education...doesn't sound very "venus-like" to me. i can't help your jealousy, but you're on crack if you think I'm gonna waste any time reading your links, when you can't even regurgitate a single point from any of that stuff. if you want people to read your stuff, you gotta convince them of something. so far, all you Z heads are just repeaters. what I've heard so far is so wrongheaded, i can't see any point in it. great job advertising the "movement", dummy.

  • As for you boasting about your college educations and your degrees, you just spew shit. I have read many crap written by people with degrees and they are completely off. I am a critical free thinker, and at the same time as i acknowledge that college "education" does make somewhat of an effort in scientific discipline, many times it makes mistakes, so i like to think for myself and not place my full trust in this "education" hysteria. That is what Peter was saying. I follow science, not college

  • Actually you don't know shit about the venus project. Even your first fucking sentence you use the word "fund." That shows you don't even know the basics of this concept.

  • btw, how is being older than you somehow bad? are you hoping to die young or something? or are you just upset that you can't back up shit?

  • I'm done with you duncecap. Go find another subject to act like you know it all, but dont know one thing about. After, of course, your done jerking off to your online degrees you hang over you bed that hasnt seen a piece of pussy since your mom sat in it.

LOSER! I'm going to go have a beer with your daughter, I'll be sure to give her MY best since yours is a joke.

    See ya Fuckface!

  • Well, I don't have kids, so whoever that underage girl is you're hiding in your closet, it ain't mine. But hey- at least I was right- you ran away like a punk motherfucker, because you don't know dick. All you can do is refer people to a website. Face it: you're outclassed. I know- I only studied psychology, behaviorism, biology, anatomy, pathology, chemistry, organic chemistry, microbiology...what would a dunce like me know about behavior, right? Fucking sad you can't remember shit to say.

  • ok, you're not arguing. so you're a liar AND a moron. if you've done so much HOMEWORK, why refer me to the site? just tell me what i need to know, oh guru? are you too fucking incapable to make an argument for yourself, so you have to refer me to others, like, the guy who you let do your thinking for you?

    fuckking idiot.

  • hey douchebag I PM'ed you the links you need to read to educate yourself.
