  • Saves $1,000,000,000,000 off the Federal Deficit

And what did the GOP (Give Obama Problems) do to cut the Deficit?

    Oh...........

  • I truly am ashamed to be an America ruled by this administration. My family fought for this country and this is where we are today. It is absolutely heartbreaking.

  • @stiehler1117 Then do something about it.

  • What can I do? Obama and his administration obviously don't care what the American public has to say. The only thing we can do is vote these criminals out

  • The new health care bill is almost 2000 pages. Pelosi and the liberal media are hyping it in our faces and against our will.

Fiat legislation and higher taxes from a fascist Congress who began planning the implementation of martial law in their closed-door session of March 2008.

    Wake up, America!

  • dude, we're awake. We can't do anything about it though. Time to go back to sleep, droning on as zombies to work our lives away propping up the system.

  • Yep, that's what the fedgov wants, is a bunch of taxpaying zombies who will forfeit their rights. Ever notice how manistream media just spins the issue from left to right, while Congress just goes on with business as usual, insulting us that the health care bill will be a christmans present for americans. What a joke. They know the representatives that vote for the bill won't get re-elected. They've got to be planning a crash.

  • The complexity of all legislation is done on purpose.

Making legislation overly complex assures lawyers and the legal industry will always be working at or near capacity.

Is it a coincidence that so many of our law-givers are lawyers? No, it isn't.

We need to start forcing our government to return to its Constitutional limitations, and for Congress to remain in the confines of their Constitutionally-mandated limitations of scope and duties.

  • The same reason bugs and mismatched code are put in computer programs, if you give them a working product you can't make money down the road "fixing" it.

  • No they didn't read it, cause it isn't finished you idiot. They didn't vote on it either.

  • You don't get it...

A thousand page health care bill...??

Why is it a thousand flippin' pages..

It should be very simple so the most simpleton can figure it out. They make these huge hundreds, or thousands of pages worth of BS, then the nitty gritty is in the middle somewhere where no see's it until it comes out.

I voted Obama, and I use to be for health care reform but it sounds fishy.

There's more to it, I'm telling people.

  • You seem smart....so why did you vote for the two party machine?

  • No, they didn't read it because they don't care what it says.

  • Why listen to polls really, they are easily swayed and rely on knowledge of electorate, of which is disturbingly small, which why US has such rubbish governance. I would listen to economists which say that if healthcare costs aren't brought down, then it will seriously damage the longterm economic fortunes of America. The rise in social security and medicare programs will outstrip the bailout if inflation in this industry is not somehow brought under control.

  • This HealthScam Bill doesn't fix any of the things that people want fixed.

But it gives the Govt. even more control over our lives...which is why Obama wants it so bad.

  • I don't think congress knows how to read

  • why aren't we violently taking our country back when our leaders are not even reading the bills they're passing. They could be passing bills that say in 2011, the government will kill all blue-eyed Americans. We're out of control. We need a revolution. And none of this teaparty shit.

  • I am no longer a silent American. I am often calling congress people who make good comments or stupid comments. I support nothing chairman obama or the democrat party stands for today.

However, I wish the Republican Party would grow a back bone.

  • Both parties offer no representation to us.

  • @1Tarz isn't it the democrats that need a backbone?
