  • First, I hope you feel better now, and I m sure you manage to handle your exam! Cheer up ( if you have other ones)

My 1st book memory is from French Litterature of course. It's "Sophies' Misfortunes", by La Comtesse de Ségur. Very girly, old and traditional, but every little girl should read it ^^

    Lysis

  • I loved the Mallory Tower series by Enid Blyton. It made me wish I had gone to boarding school!

  • My favorite children's book was "The Fantastic Four go to Hawaii" from the Little Golden Book series. I used to get my Grandma to read it to me all the time, right up until I turned 4 and started reading it to her instead. I can't imagine how sick of that book she must have been by then, but she patiently listened to me every time I read it to her. She was so awesome. :-)

  • i can still remember the first book i ever read:

James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

so i spent a lot of my childhood reading Roald Dahl. But then i found Harry Potter and became completely obsessed. I'm still young enough to be classed as a child, but when i was about 7 or 8 years old my favourite authors were Roald Dahl and JK Rowling. and today Rowling is still there at the top of my list

  • i dunno, i read one about a bear, and the got harry potter when i was nine, so yeah, you know the harry potter story in great depth Liv.

  • You go! good luck with your exam. OVER in a week!

My fav child book was the "wicked" series. Six books, 2 authors. Fantastic

  • i'm sorry your day isn't going so well, but i'm sure your gonna do great on your exam! ^^

  • 'back when i was a children' :P

  • Oh yes, and feel better and good luck :D

  • I didn't read much as a child :'(

Redwall snuck its way into my reading though :)

    Talking animals make me happy.

  • Yaaaaaaay, Liv! I hope your exams go well.

I loved Roxaboxen and Miss Rumphius. Well, I still do.

  • There was a time in my life when I used to say, "Up the Faraway Tree, Joe, Bessie and ME!" all the time! (it may have been the caption on an illustration) The Enchanted Tree was the first "chapter" book I ever read. I also grew up with Roald Dahl and Beverly Cleary books!

  • Also...I grew up with Harry Potter.

  • I pretty much suck at cheering up and I have no idea what you're going though as I'm too young but I'm feeling just as bad as you :(

I've had 3 tests today and I've been sick for almost a week....but my crappy monday just got better xD

  • Joke: What is big, green, fuzzy, and if it falls out of a tree it would kill you? (see end of commen)

Favourite Children Books: All of the American Girl Books, and nonfiction books about dogs...

Hope the end of high school goes well!

    Anwer: A pool table

  • You're awesome! Don't worry, you'll be done with it all soon! I'm sorry, I fail at cheering people up. Hopefully the other comments did a better job.

I think my favorite children's books are the Redwall series. Though I didn't start reading Redwall until I was 12, and I don't think I'd recommend them to those under 10, I still count them as children's books.

  • Once you're done with your exams you can sleep all day. You can spend all your time reading and watching movies and being lazy and not studying. You're almost free.

It's not for children, but it was my favourite series when I was a child, and it's His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. And, like every single child since 90's I loved Harry Potter. I think my favourite book was The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gial Carson Levine.

  • High school is almost over, and soon you will start a new chapter in your life. Be happy for what you have accomplished in life so far. You're amazing!

I'm not sure if this video would cheer you up, but it does with me whenever I'm having a bad day.

    -------------------------------------------------------

My favourite books (assuming comics count) are: The Black Island, The Secret of The Unicorn, The Treasure of Red Rackham, and Flight 714 (all in the original French language).

  • Oh I loved Enid Blyton too. I think it was old even when we were kids though, but definitely a classic.

Your exams are nearly done. Just think, in three days or however long it is for you it will all be over - forever. And you'll be stress free for the next three months of your life!

  • My captcha code was "repultio"

First thing that popped into my head - "i wonder what that spell does..."

I know it's a little less advanced than Enid Blyton, but Eric Carle books always made me smile (he did The Very Hungry Caterpillar)

If ever I need cheering up, i just visit mylifeisaverage [dot] com. That'll cheer you RIGHT up :)

  • I read Anne of Green Gables all the time when I was younger. I'm still in love with it. :)

  • Holy crap that rings a bell, didn't the kids meet some guy called Moonface or something like that?

In fact thinking about it now I could see how that name could become so disturbing

  • Your amazing !

    you cheer up my mondays!

i hope your feeling good soon! goodluck with the exam!

    xx

  • anyone remember Fireman Sam?

  • just think, exams and school are nearly finally over :) i have one exam left, and even though its a tough one, i'm just glad that i'm nearly done. and then we can party like its 1999. or 2009, which it is.

  • I love you, and you're amazing. You bring a smile to my face, each time I watch one of your videos. Good luck, with you exams, & i'm hoping this message might do something to cheer you up?
