MSG unfairly gets a bad rap. A majority of asians, including my family, use MSG in all our cooking. I don't think it's any worst than table salt and definately not as bad as what what we all commonly eat and drink (e.g. butter, coffee, alcohol, nutri-sweet).

They must be control freaks or worse. i was just stating the reason why msg was banned from use in the us at asian restaurants i wasnt saying msg was bad or anything i have a bag in my kitchen right now! i use it when cook my thai food. i dont understand the backlash that im getting but oh well

i can cook better than that!! most thai people and some lao.....think msg are bad for you...maybe...anything can be bad for you, if you use too much..people don' t use msg, but they use chicken flavor (lort dee) thai word...they think that's not msg...ha ha....they need to look in the ing. we been eat msg all our life...we'er heathy!..what about butter most american people used....too much butter+oil+sugar+ meat,& msg ...can be bad for everybody

Radna Talay is such a wonderful comfort food-great if you've had too many chiles or got bad water. Originally I think it was Chinese but sometimes mild is good.

You can buy this type of burner at many Asian markets or buy a turkey fryer or cajun grill-works great-very powerful-do NOT use inside! Have all ingredients prepped before starting to fry.
