well I still own a t100 and have sence the day I bought it NEW with only 22 miles on it, it now has over 210,000 miles on it and still runs like the day I perched it. I have sense owned 1 1999 ford f150 that fell apart at about 70,000 miles, 1 2001 Chevy silverado 5.3 that started knocking at 32,000 miles and the gm dealer said thats normal, (whatever) 1 2002 dodge ram 2500 the front end fell apart 3 times with only 25,000 miles on it not to mention the transmission went out at 40,000......
Oh so im off by 5 ft/lb and 5 hp? That is really flawed!.... I drive a chevy silverado with a 350. I also have friends with 5.4 fords and 5.9 dodges which i have driven. True enough you drive one, but have you driven a vortec 350, a 5.4 ford or 5.9 dodge. I bet you've beaten 5.3 chevys, newer 5.4's and hemi dodges to right? haha
@zigzagg321321 GM sucks because the factory clutch didnt last nearly 200,000 miles? My 1992 Chevy blazer had 223,000 miles on it when the automatic transmission went out - but the guy before me let the thing run out of fluid once it already had high miles... motor ran like a champ and the 4x4 gear worked well still. At least a GM or Ford truck can last over 15 years with out rusting out like a toyota or dodge!
@mustang633NY Oh no, my rear quarters have a tinge of rust. My frame is 100% rust free. On a 15 year old truck that runs and feels like new. Also getting 25 mpg still is nice. Cant get that with 90's era GM trucks.
@zigzagg321321 I like some tacomas but ive never seen a toyota over 10 years old that didnt have Dodge ram style rust.... Maybe foreign cars and dodges last longer where the DPW doesnt dump salt on the roads all winter.
@mustang633NY I live well within the salt belt... The made in japan Yodas dont rust nearly as bad as the USA made ones... As far as frames go... Japan made Yoda frames dont rust at all... the ones made in the USA by Dana Corp sure as hell do...I had one... toyota bought it back from me for 1.5x KBB value.
your just mad because (gods mechanical curse) aka gmc is nothing but peice of shit and you are obveously a very stupid peice of shit as well. so i guess the gmc is the perfect truck for you bitch!
@chaosad09 Yeah i bet you did win races with a 185 hp T100. Especially against 210hp TBIs or 260 hp vortec GM's; or 200-235 5.0-5.8l fords or 260 hp 5.4s. Oh and i bet you've beat a 5.2 and 5.9 dodges with 215-245 hp to right. haha keep dreaming buddy. I didnt even mention torque number for the real trucks; which is where the big difference is.
@mike4x4chevy48 Hey jackass. Its 190 hp. And It all comes down to power to weight. and yes I have smoked the shit out of or keept right up with all of those turds you mentioned. DEAL WITH IT.
@chaosad09 thats strange because every single person(other than you) that have driven or tested the T-100 always wanted 1 thing in the truck. MORE power. I realize power-wieght is very important in raceing, but that little 3.4l in the t-100 only produces about 215-220 ftlb of torque to 33-3400 lbs. Now say with a 98 chevy 4x4 extended cab, they're about 4400 lbs but with 330 ftlbs and another 65 hp. The truck may wiegh more, but its got more torque at a lower rpm to get that wieght moving.
@chaosad09 Once that extra weight is moving, the more available horspower will easily take care of the rest. The only trucks i mentioned that you would keep up with would be a 4x4 TBI chevy, a 4x4 318 dodge, or a 4x4 5.0 ford. The other three bigger motors i mentioned would be comparableto the vortec 350 4x4 i was talking about above. Facts and details say and prove it all.
@mike4x4chevy48 Well thats funny because my little 3.4 makes just about as much hp and not a whole lot less ftlb then those v-8s. Btw its 190 hp and 225 ftlb. I realy do enjoy seeing the look on the faces of you doge chevy and ford fanboys when they are looking at my tailgate. They have the same attitude as you, and they get quite pissed when they get beat. I dont know where you are getting your info about the t-100 from but it is extreamly flawed. I get my info from driving one. Thanks
@steve2848 Im looking for a 1993 sierra, but all I can find is a 1993 T100. Its crazy, they must all be in the junk yard despite outselling t100 10?fold? haha GM sucks, its a fact
@krapfeaster you must have said that backwards.... I have not seen an early 90s toyota anything (car or truck) in a few years because they all rusted away but theres still 1970s on up chevy and ford trucks around.
@krapfeaster Actually i said 90s toyotas...but if you want to go there... Actually the first toyota imported for sale in the US was in 1957 but Toyotas first good car sold in America was the 1966 Toyota Corona. If you watch old car reviews the guys talk about the toyotas bette fit and finnish but how the American cars were better in comfort, style and power. Toyotas were built in canada in the early 1980s and in the USA in by the mid 80s.... so yes - I am a "smart guy" thank you
How come they didnt show the t100 comments..probably there was to many to be interviewed on how good the t100 is

Is that a V8 Sierra? because the T100 in 1993 was made with a 3.0L engine. That wouldnt be a good comparison.
