I was there, the protestors were illegally blocking a road, and the protest should have been broken up MUCH earlier. The only thing they managed to do was cost the tax payers a ton of money, and kept about 50 truck drivers from making a living for a day. They are all just morons, and vandals as the following day would show when they started littering the streets of Olympia with debris, busting windows, and blocking entrance ramps.

The big problem is that frequently the police direct protesters to vacate areas they have a right to occupy or move to locations which render the protest meaningless. My understanding of the war resistance movement is that there are a large number of working class involved.
