what gas milege do u get i got the wxact truck as a project and i was wondering what i was loking at spending gas wise when i get it on the road.

@GMCs15lover Gets real good mileage. About 32 in town. Can get up to 40 or 45 on the highway if driven responsibly (keep it at 55 in 5th gear). This one is the 2.5 4 banger with a single barrel carb and a 5 speed. Has a centerforce clutch and flowmaster exhaust, Some of the mods on this truck aren't legal in every state though.

Do want! My old 2.2L could go over 100 MPH if the computer didn't limit it (stupid things). And my exhaust had a cherry bomb on it so this definitely sounds better than fart cans.

mine sounds different when it was straight piped it was louder and more aggressive but i put a muffler followed by a resonator tip to keep the neighbor from bitching when i race / go mudding at night

Ratical. But they're no longer in business. Now the only option that I'm aware of is made by Lund and they're about $200. You can sometimes find visors like this one on eBay for about $150 used.

Tops out at 70?? Why? Is the diff geared super low? Anyhow I wish I could build a older model S10 from the frame up over a period of a few years but I don't know how... I am NO mechanic and have no tools or garage space....bummer. Hell I'd have regular cab with 4 wheel drive and if possible mate a 2.5 iron duke to a transfer case for gas mileage just to get throught the MI winters. Hell spray paint it even lol.
