Well I think that Keith, even with his asthma problems and all actually had a pretty good voice range, if you consider songs like "All the falling angels", and all the Armageddon album. don't think Beck is arrogant at all, actually he has a good sense of humour and a great musician.
Keith Relf was a great frontman and sadly overshadowed. His voice may have not been suited for pop but, considering his asthma problems he sure had a wide ranging voice in songs like "All the Falling Angels" , Shapes in my mind and so many others, as well as his Armageddon album. I don't think that Jeff is arrogant at all, he has a good sense of humour and a real good guy, one of the best guitarists today.
keith was a great harmonica player and has ifluenced my playing, i have played harp for 40 years now, and i still pay tribute to him when i play smokestack lightnin.....ron beretta, the beretta blues express, chicago
indeed its sad that Keith's no longer with us.How good wood it have been to Keith and the YARDBIRDS reunited in the 90's or afterwards with the great pa systems we have today.
I have the VHS this is taken from, but I want to thank you for posting this, anyway, b/c I love every player this band ever "contained" & Keith was just so good! He also had one of the most beautiful speaking voices i'd ever heard! If he'd never gone into rock and roll, it would've just been so tragic!
Keith and his music made a big impression on me ever since I first listened to my dad's old Yardbirds albums back in middle school. In fact, they were among the first vinyl records I ever played...
They look funny crammed together on that small couch.

Many people think Jeff is arogant, When he talks he's really alive and I've found him to be quite funnt.. At the Awards 2009
Hall of fame he was funny. I feel bad that he's struggled with his hearing, I can relate.. Ok, I'll say it, what?
