weird to say that the Vatican did..Didnt the divine name get eliminated in the new testatment ? Did Jesus even said that GOD THE FATHER was to be called Jehovah. Also we know that the Septuagint was a translation not necessarily the original. The Greeks were keeping with Jewish tradition of pronouncing the name which is hisotrically true even within themeselves. Also do you realize there are other gods by identifying names other than "Jehovah" in the scriptures? Removing "Jehovah" from the scriptures will automatically open the modified scriptures in sanctifying these other gods instead of the real God without a personal identification. Satan is also listed in the Bible as "the god of this system of things"

Exodus 3:15: " God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'YAHWEH, the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. " In most bibles Yahweh is replaced by LORD or GOD.. This is contrary to YAHWEH's command in Exodus 3:15
