It's cool to me...I mean even if the preacher is talking you can still drop it in a nice hot groove where everyone is together....it's offering time so do what you want with it but be together...a nice swing would have been good on the drums and just walk the bass with the organ chording and playing the melody

hey tredshgto you must don't know much about order in the church..he knew the organ wasn't playin the bass, so there wasn't a need for him to play loud..plus since they was just kinda playin around at the offering, they probably didn't really wanna get out of control..plus the preacher was up talkin, if you know anything about order you know you dont supposed to play loud while the preacher is talkin..all the musicians was tight on here, but the bass player really know his stuff..

Is it just me or does anybody else hate playing with nylon tip drumsticks.They will eventually break of.see I perfer 1b-2b of any brand.but the Tony Royster brand of drummstick are pretty nice.but any good drummer will tell you drumsticks are drumsticks.I can jam with a pair of fat band drumsticks. It doesn't matter

I play with nylon tips for two reasons, one durability they last longer. When I play the tip is the first thing to go, that makes rolls and bounces difficult. Playing with nylon tips solved that for me. Two, it adds a nice crisp accent to the hi-hat.
