  • hey man you wouldnt help me out a lil would ya? iv got a 331 and im looking for a good SC maybe up to but no more then 8lbs, you have any reccomendations ? and what is the timen set on yours b4 you put the procharger on it? iv got msd ignition, high rise intake, forged internals (top & bottom) holly 750, etc etc, im just tired of it skippin, iv adjusted the time, tryed new plugs and wires, everything man, do you know of anything else?

  • Running 10 degrees timing. Procharger p1sc probably would be a good set up for you. Not sure about the miss?

  • Well see man i always start with the most NoN-exspensive first, witch was plugs wires distributer , belt timeing , carb. setup, etc, but what other reasons would it be for it to cause it to skip. i actualy thought it may could be the vales or rocker rollers, i dunno man, im just tired of it running like a peace of shit.. lol, i want my ole muzzy back.. im just trying to figure something out

  • Thanks. I have the B50 sportsman block. I built my engine before the new boss came out. Matter of fact I had this block sitting around for 3 yrs before I ever got around to building it. I THink the boss is the only way to go and I would just get a crate motor. I really enjoyed the build up but what a pain in the azz. I had problems with getting my parts in, waiting 3 months on the heads etc. Plus every nut bolt on this thing is new. I left my old engine in the car until time to switch it

  • What kind of power you making out of that thing im guessing you have to be pushing 600rwhp and i dont know what suspension you have but i highly recommend the QA1 coilover set up works great on my fox.

  • Unfortunately it only dynoed at 485. Its pig rich and in desperate need of an accurate tune. They guy who installed did a good job on that part but the tune is off and he seems unable or unwilling to listen and get it right. So when I get time I will be looking out of state for a good tuner.

  • buddy of mine has a 331 with a d1 procharger and afr 185 and he put down just under 600rwhp in his 94 gt no reason you should be in that ball park

  • if your gonna race on the strip lowering the car with eighbachs would be a bad thing...lowering springs are mostly for road racing apps...if your lookin for 1/4 mile and traction as far as taking off get drag springs...you might wanna looks into the different ratios but nice ride, and nice setup intercooled prochargers are bad ass..

  • eibach seems to be the favorite of everyone i know...are all the centrifugal superchargers for the 302 right side mount?

  • Thanks. No this is driver side from procharger. It seems like vortec and others like the passenger side.

  • seems odd cuz the intake goes to the passenger side, im sure it dont really matter anyways, but yeah nice ride

    comes out of the blower, into cooler then into inlet on the other side..
