  • very awesome! i can see the potential

  • I know, they have four PWM's on board and all sorts...

  • ooh!!! pwm!! thats awesome. so u could have the pwm driving a resistor, and then a analgue to digital converter on each output!! and have 4x 8bit outputs!.

  • how fast can you get the lights to flash?

  • 4 Million times a second or 1 million if they are lighting in sequence of 4 roughly...

  • is it limited to 4? be cool if it had 5 then a sixth to hit the dip switch instead of led get the knight rider effect going on.

  • You can light 8 of the Bank C or B off the Chip cant remember which, but you could make an interface to light up loads...

  • Cool vid.

I recently bought a simple LED chaser kit (because I'm not as advanced as you), my idea is: use it to sequence a simple walking motion.

    Should be fun.

  • Nice one, Post a video of it when its running..

  • you should consider making tutorials you're really good at this stuff :)

  • Thanks, I Might go through the 12-13 example programs and how they work if I get good feed back.

Please put a thumbs up on this comment if you want me to do pic tutorials with explanations...

    Good idea!

  • You might also want to check out the Arduino boards and the open source project.

  • cool Ill look into them

    Thanks.

  • What language are you using to program your pic? Is this the pic burner or just a project board?

Thanks for sharing pics are so fun. miniature computer

  • The black box is the burner and the green board is a project board. I always use my own perf board anyway way way before PICKit 2 was conceived.

  • It uses assembly language, or c that you compile into assembly.

Im using assembly because even though I know how to code in c its a pain to keep converting..

Its both I wanted to put the headers on it so I can link over to my Prototype board for the design side.

    Paul..

  • I programmed mine in assembly language as well. took me months but finally got it working with some help.
