It is my opinion that his conduct yesterday was a disgrace to his legal profession and he deserves a reprimand from the legal board also, not for the sentence he imposed, but for his conduct. Why is it wrong for a judge to say someone is a disgrace to the profession? That is exactly what Dr Murray is. The judge did not say anything that no one else was thinking. It is not like he said he is a worthless piece of shit... or something on those lines. Maybe he should not have expressed himself, but what judge does not? I have been in enough court rooms to say that almost all judges do this, sometimes they say things much more harsh then Judge Michael Pastor.

@minky55555 Dr Murray denied in his statement to the police that there was an iv propofol drip running.He said there was only a saline drip.CM said he gave the 25mg propofol by slow iv push using a 10cc syringe.The only fingerprints found at the crime scene were those of CM.

Now there would be a reason for an saline drip if you need to piggyback a vented tubing in from a bottle of a medication! As for no fingerprints but Dr. Murrays? Simple...someone...could have stolen profofol and drawn it up in a sryinge, put gloves on , gone in the room when Dr, Murray was out of the room and given a quick little IV Push and walked out ..leaving no finerprints.

@zameisie Also, we do have plain Saline IV Drips running in order to give IV Push meds if a patient gets alot of meds. I do not think dr. Murray gave more than 25mg. If MJ gave it to himself then only MJ and God knows that. But if someone else went in that room when Drt. Murray wass out of the room...then I hope someday someone will be able to prove it. @minky55555 All of that is irrelevant. Dr Conrad Murray (dunno if I shud use the title Dr for him now) violated all ethical obligation he had as a doctor. He bought Propofol into his patients home and used it in his bedroom. That alone is wrong and deserves severe punishment. Everything else is irrelevant. If only it happened in the UK then propofol would never have been allowed to be shipped to someones home.

Many other doctors and professionals testified in the court room and they all agreed.

Sadly, Conrad Murray will only stay in jail for two years, maybe even less than that as the LA prisons are full, so they say.

Conrad Murray should LOSE his doctorate licenses and should never be allowed to practise again. As a health care provider, there are just something you just do not do and this was one of them.
