i live about 25 minutes away from the castle. ive lived in colorado city for 24 years and ive seen this castle come alive. It truly is an amazing piece of work!! he is a little off and ppl say he is nuts cuz all he does is build the castle. He does it for everything he said in the video and for his six year old son who was crushed while he was clearing trees for a part of the castle. if your ever in southern colorado go check it out. you will then know true beauty. absolutly beautiful country.

the best thing about Bishop's Castle is that he makes it free (donations suggested) and open to the public and you can climb all over it at your own risk. It feels rickety as all hell and it gets so scary at the top of the towers!
