  • Oh gawsh. I love the shirt. Wait, pink or red?

  • "I don't know what he was checking out." That was hilarious.

  • Well, did you get "some"?

  • rick is the mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You seem very sweet and very much a gentleman- a rare find!

  • If Liza wanted to go out with Gordon, they'd pay for it because that's whom the audience chose.

  • very funny rick

  • Ink on your stuff??? sexy lipped individual

  • You're hot, Rick. Do you still look like that? Did you ever get married and have kids? Are you still in L.A.? Did you get anymore tattoos? Did you ever go on any other game shows?

  • stalker =p

  • i would of picked u to!!!!!!!

  • so rick...what happened?

  • he has an Odie tattoo ! .. MARRY ME RICK !

  • Alos, you noticed, that Tom McConnell returned to his directing booth throughout S11, and also during the second half of the Season 10 when the first week of episodes with the 1993 copyright display were aired in February of that year, making S10 the last season to produce 195 episodes but the second half of that season also had the date selector's profile display stopped fading out before pushing to the right motion IIRC.

  • Rick she was fucking gorgeous, you are a lucky man...

  • What a cute couple =D But were those clothes really legal at that time?

  • Nice vid and date.....yours went SO MUCH BETTER than mine....good job!

  • we love you rick

  • Nice job Rick! That is hilarious :-) Thanks for sharing this video.

  • So, Rick....did you go on to find a "Love Connection" later in life? You seem like a nice guy. Cute, too.

So, what do you do for a living? How much do you make? (sorry, had to say it)

Sigh...why are all the good ones straight?

  • So, are you two still together or what?

  • No...we only went out for about a month after the shoot. The novelty wore off pretty quickly

  • Too bad...you two look good together

  • That's pretty cool. If you respond to me, I would really feel like I would be communicating with a famous person. (I know, I am lame :-)). I loved this show when it aired back then.

  • Was it Season 11 of the show because of John Cervenka's intro voice was different from Seasons 8-10.

  • that's what i thought this is, because of chuck's look, cervenka's voice like you mentioned, and the studio look during 1994 (little changed from 1991-93); season 11 is love connection's final season

  • also John Cervanka was a tad louder in his voice intro in S7 as well.

  • how did u go about getting on this show? i think that would b a cool expierience 2 b on that show.

  • the best part of love connection is the audience voting, where everyone screams out suggestions for the contestant's date.

  • and them waving to the camera during the end credits from 1991-94, plus the wb logo thrown in with the jazzy theme carrying over the wb logo

  • it's kind of weird how when LC's first 4 seasons were taped at ABC Television Center from 1983-87, the audience was a little more somber when it came to them voting as opposed to the 1991-94 eps. where they sounded much more enthusiastic w/ their voting by screaming out suggestions.

  • this episode, is it near the 1994 finale?

  • It must be, b/c listen to how extra enthusiastic John Cervanka sounded when he said Chuck Woolery's name out loud and the shot of Chuck Woolery ponting towards the camera in the opening credits.

  • Pretty cool, you were not nervous at all.

  • You both seem like very down-to-earth people. I guess that is why I like this show, besides the occasional laugh at other people's foibles.

BTW, what is it like to meet Mr. Woolery? He seems like a very good-natured guy. He really made that show watchable and seem like something a person could participate in without being mocked or savaged by the host. I don't think I could relax, though, having my dates picked apart on national TV.

  • It was a fun experience...Chuck was a great person to meet and made everyone feel comfortable on the set. It's worse having your date picked apart on "You Tube" than on actually television...

  • The show is somewhat scripted so they coach you on things to say to make the show interesting. The second question is none of your business...that was a stupid post on your part.

  • I'd like to hear what your experience was on this show. Mine was interesting and still has the ability to make me squirm everytime I am forced to bring the video out at a party. I can't believe I said the things I said.

  • Why do you complain so much on the show? That's a real turn off, I'm sure.

Also, did you have sex with her on the first date, or at any point afterwards?

  • to bad the love connection wore off. WOuld have been cool to be on this show. Did they only give you guys $75 for the date?

  • yep, that's what it was until the 98 revival where they get $100

  • She's pretty cute.

  • you da man! how were the other dates? that is the best looking girl ive ever seen on love connection. you guys should have got married. did you ever get married?

  • So what happened between the two of you after the show?

  • We went out for about a month. Then the novelty of the show wore off :)

  • @brewin65 Hi. What do you mean the novelty of the show wore off?

  • Honor, I spelled it wrong.

  • One time Chuck Woolery on Scrabble, had Love week on Scrabble and he said, "In honer of Valentine's day this week, It's Love Connection week here on Scrabble."
