i really touched with this video , because i can't think of any thing else except the 7 years old kid who i diagnosed today with ALL leukemia , and the cancer is in early stages i even kept his blood film with me , and i know i broked a rule with getting touched with an patient but fuck this rule i don't care , oh god i even can't erase his smile when i told his parent because he didn't know what even ALL means
@GabeForSale2K Yes that's right, but the biopsy report read Stage 4 Acute Lympoblastic Leukemia-Lymphoma; the 'art' of medicine accounts for those grey areas like me. Getting treated at 4 different hospitals around the nation, from KC to Boston, you get different perspectives. I'm alive, almost 3 years post transplant and no meds with a new blood type. Whatever classification you want to give it, low risk, high, or recurrent(mine), I'm lucky to beyond that now and live to tell about it.
hi all I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 1 then got remissioned at the age of 5 I know what the kids and adults been through there because I use to be like them I don't want anyone go through the same stuff I've been through glad I'm happy to be alive.
One of my friends was out from school quite often from being sick. Lots of us would joke that he's probably just playing hooky most of the time. But he started to be absent for weeks at a time. He wasn't there for like the last 3 weeks of school and missed our middle school graduation. While looking on our school website, i found a link to a poster, advertising a Bone Marrow Drive this week for Angel, who has ALL and won't survive without a donation that his family can't provide...Good God...

My girlfriend was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I'm not sure which version yet, but either way, I plan to look after her, and come to the hospital and be by her side as much as I can, because I do not want to lose her.
This video was an inspiration to me and will be to her; and I keep everyone's affected family members in my prayers, as I hope you will keep my girlfriend in yours.
I was diagnosed with ALL last week. Luckily, there's an almost 90% survival rate. It's hard on me, but I'm keeping my thoughts positive. I don't plan on letting this beat me.
kingerste2000, a lot of people thought this was only a children's cancer. I'll keep your mom in my prayers. My hope is that everyone who watches this video will pray for those who tell us of someone in their family with cancer.
@stevesilvia My 11 years old son was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblast Luekemia and he died after his 3rd chemotherapy. I am so happy for those family who's survivor. My prays go out to everyone family.
@neejkhuamsiab If god is so good, why do you imagine he gave your daughter cancer in the first place? You think he just thought it's be funny to see your family suffer for 2 or 3 years before he actually 'cured' her? Idiot.
@stevesilvia my dad was diagnosed on wednesday 26/10/10, he is 50 years old, im 22 and finding it very hard, i know he will make it there is hope for ALL, please never give up, you are all in my prayers. xxx
@stevesilvia If god is so good, why do you imagine he gave your daughter cancer in the first place? You think he just thought it's be funny to see your family suffer for 2 or 3 years before he actually 'cured' her? Idiot.
@x2thay my daughter does not have cancer, however the belief that God is not in control, as you seem to feel, is wrong and mostly felt by atheists. We believe that God has a reason for everything, and that he wants us to learn to depend on Him. I don't think that makes me an idiot, but it does make me understand faith in God. From the outside, or at a glance, it seems everything happens at random, and without reason....But once you see the big picture, you see how God is working in our lives...
@stevesilvia You know having cancer hurts. A lot. Not only to those who have it, but to everyone around them. We can agree on that, right? So, what you've done is convince yourself that Allah, or Yahweh, or whichever one you chose to believe in, did that for a good reason. Because he loves you.
I could very well believe in a impersonal god. I would never subscribe to a bizarre cult like yours.
So, I do think you're an idiot in the sense that you are deliberately ignorant.
@x2thay what I have said is that God is in control, and can change our situations. God can use our problems, to bring about something that He wants to change. We don't believe in an impersonal God, but rather one who wants us to know how much He cares. The bible says that not one bird falls from the sky without the Father knowing about it..." How much more important we are, that He will hear our cries and prayers....The bible is a love letter, from God to us.
Bible's love.I can quote from memory a dozen horrific verses from the bible that would make a sociopath blush. You know what I'm talking about. So what you've done is build up your own bible, kickin' out the sick stuff that you just can't rationalize, like when god send two bears to tear apart 42 children for mocking some guy. How's that for god's divine love?
I tell you, I'd hate to see god's hate letter. I'm sorry to have to say this but you're probably better than your so-called god, silvia.
@stevesilvia So all mighty god couldn't think of anything better than rape stories? Child killing stories?Mass murder stories? Gruesome spectacles stories? It make me genuinely sad that you, a grown up person, would be comfortable with such a monster. I think we're done.
God sends two bears to rip up 42 little children for making fun of Elisha's bald head. And by 'rip up' I mean the bears feaster upon the children's bloody flesh until death.
@x2thay The purpose of the story, is about the ancient war of good vs bad. The good of course is Elisha the prophet, and the bad is the group of people attacking him. It is only a story, as told in those days B.C....Remember that as movies are today, stories were in those days, the more dramatic, the more people would listen. (kind of like watching Terminator 2)
@kingerste2000 my dad was diagnosed on wednesday 26/10/10, he is 50 years old, im 22 and finding it very hard, i know he will make it there is hope for ALL, please never give up, you are all in my prayers. xxx
I was diagnosed last monday with Pre-b ALL. It is very hard to deal with, but it is so treatable. The doctors take such good care of you, and the chemo therapy is nothing like what you hear. It is scary, but make sure you stay in there. Im fighting with all i got, i ain't letting go.
Hey guys, I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the song because its awesome! As well as congratulations for the video! it was really interesting
my niece was 8 months old when she was diagnosed with leukemia...two years later she was put to rest! I feel so incredibly bad that these poor young souls have to go through such pain and suffering.. I miss my brookie so dearly much! :'(
I'm 22, I was diagnosed with stage 4 ALL just before I turned 19. Back then, it ruined my goal to become collegiate runner. I relapsed in August. Since I am of mixed race, it was impossible for me to find a donor, so luckily I had suitable cords to have a stem cell transplant in October. Today I'm on day 190 and on my way to recovery when they said I only had a 10% chance of survival.
I was just diagnosed with ALL and is under going chemotherapy. Its really hard to still have hope when there seems to be no hope but u need it to get threw something like this. I feel for all of the kids having to go threw this. <3
I am a 2 year survivor of AML. i was diagnosed when i was 16. this breaks my heart to know what these kids have to go through. I wouldn't wish this on my greatest enemy, and these children are truly heroes!!!!!
I had ALL at the age of 9/and was given 2 month to live , as it had progressed some 80%.but I suddenly was cured and within 4 weeks all my medicines was discontinued, have hopes miracles do happen if you belive and wellcome it.
my best friend died on tuesday because of ALL, he was 15 and it was 3 weeks till his birthday. Whoever has a friend that is close with cancer, you should show your support straight away as you'll never know what will happen :'(
thanx alot dianayudel my son was diagonised with ALL 1 yr ago and as the video says it affects the entire family. i have 4 children and i had to leave all of them in my country to go to a foreign country for treatment i left a baby 3 months old. my sick son is 5 years old please pray for me. Why is life so unfair?
Don't be without hope. I am a childhood Leukemia survivor. I was born in Lebanon and my family had to move to the US to seek treatment. It was hard on all of us. I was 4 when i was diagnosed and now i'm 28.
Remember, that trials in life will only make you stronger. I am praying for you and your son. Have faith.
My nephew diagnosed with ALL. He is 4y6months old. I dont know what will happen to him. I want to share your journey as a leukemia survior. May your some tips will help him.
That is a beautiful video. Cancer is something which will hit home for a lot of people I think and it definately does for me. If more people get behind cancer research we can beat this disease.
persistent fever anemia caused by white blood cells taking over fullness/or weight loss caused by enlarged spleen pressing against stomach swollen lymph nodes enlarged spleen/liver bone tenderness caused by bone marrow tiredness fatigue night sweats many more but these can also be sign of something less serious like flu or other infection, get checked out if you have any of these symptoms also a high white blood count low platelets
Absolutely, sorry the whole list for whatever reason did not post the first time, but I will post all the ways that I can think of for people to help out!
wow, thank you for that beautiful video. One of my very best friends got her perfect healing in heaven last year and is with Christ so that hit VERY close to home for me. God bless you in all you do!!
my son has t-cell ALL and it is so hard on him physically but it is harder emotionally on me I am always crying and the hardest part is to not cry in front of him he feels everything he is my best friend, my happiness, my sadness I will never leave his side I just love him so much God bless Joseph please
Aaa here is the start. I was diagnosed on the 22 of june (this year) with all. That was also my 21 birthday :) heh. They are treating my ALL with the protocol for children. Its the more agressive one. Im on the fourth cycle of my chemotherapy. Its gong well and yeah it cant and wont shatter my hope and dreams. At the moment i cant feel my fingers for the past 3 monthes and i have played the guitar from the age of 5. BUT life aint fair. Thats the only 100% truth.
Hey, I'm praying for you! When you feel like you can, I'm looking for someone to play music for future videos. Send me a sample! Thanks, and keep up the fight!
And no one should have the privilege of loosing hope when they have at leest 1% chance of survival and i have 80% so :) im happy for that... How many % chance of survival had the guy that was shot on the street by someone that lost their mind and started to shoot all over the place. NON! So thats what keeps me going.. What would that guy do for a 1%chance of survival.Let alone 80% :)
At the moment im hoping that it wont be necessary to transplant my bonemarow.
I was diagnosed at the age of 25. I may never know what my family went through when they found out, but I am forever thankfull for all their support. My heart goes to all the little children. Cancer deserves no name.
Thanks for this touching vid. It seems so unfair this disease...
November 8th 2007, I was diagnosed with AML and learned the hard way to accept life as it is. Still remember the tears in the eyes of my two young children when they heared the bad news. Now I am so very gratefull that I was granted some extra time. This misery has strenghend my faith and made me a better person.
Let us not question the ways of G*d. Psalm 103 reasures me that G*d is a caring father!
i had A.L.L leukemia and just finished treatment this year in may after goin through it for 2 years, now i get check ups every month and they told me its lookin really good.
My 2 years son was diagnosed ALL acute on July 2007. It was the hardest year in our lifes. Right now is in maintenance, but we are tired. we have lost many people in this way: Leire, Christian, Borja, Michel.
Acute Lymphblastic Leukemia runs in my family, I've lost my cousin, My Dad, My twin sister, My uncle, and My grat Grandpa to it, I may be the next to be diagnosed with it.
You and your son will be in my prayers, and I'm sure a lot of peoples prayers, when they see this. You can keep in touch with me, I look forward to hearing from you. God bless!
All you said is true. God this video made me cry so much. I've been broken since my brother been diagnosed with CML. Please pray for him and for every one suffering from it. God always listen.
my uncel passed away from AML back in 2002 and a girl who I attended school with and played netball with passed away of AML late last year and now a boy in my class is receiving treatment for ALL. its really sad to think that I know all these people and they have luekemia it kinda feels like my life is surrounded by luekemia kind of
my greatest friend was diagnosed with AML 2 weeks ago. she is 17 and everyone is so scared. god bless stevesilvia for raising awarness and the support i found in this vid and my thoughts go out 2 all who have suffered from cancer past and present x
RODESCOVE07, I am so sorry to hear that. I really wish we could find a cure. I'll say a prayer for your brother, and for you too. Please feel free to keep in touch with me.
Thank you for educating me, what a touching vidio, extremly well put together vidio, making us aware of what families go through, let alone the children and babies, thank u for the awareness you have shown through this vidio, may God touch each and every child and family with His healing touch and give you strength and encouragement and HOPE and PEACE & COMFORT & HEALING in Jesus precious Name. Touch their hearts and lives as only You can Jesus. Love Petra
mi best friend knows someone who is a Survivor, so i know its possible. to all those with leukemia. or any other type of cancer, child or adult, just keep fighting and dont loose faith. to all those who know someome with cancer, keep praying for them and dont loose faith in them.
My sister just called me about 12 to 12:30pm 10/03/07. Today! She told me about the blood results! I am praying so hard now! She mentioned that they may have found 2 cells resembling Leukemia! She is not sure, but i will pray if they are wrong, or if it is so! I will pray for all these babies!...I promise i will be the best uncle in the world!
my youngest brother was diagnosed with this type of Leukemia when he was 2 1/2 when my parents came home and told me i couldn't find any words to say. All of these videos helped me and i am sure many others come to terms with these things.
He has been so brave, he is now 6 and is thankfully getting better.
All these children with Leukemia and their families are all hero's in their own way.
I was touched by your video and almost cried because I remember my younger sister while she was fighting againsts not only with ALL but also with AML, yes! she got 2 leukemias! and Thank God for she had surpassed those most critical days for 2yrs of Induction!now she's having her maintenance...God is so good! With Him, nothing is impossible!
this is such a great video my son was diagnosed with all this year when he was 16 months old he is now going to turn 2 on the 20th of this month. He is going through his last month of intense chemo he. is doing well I would love to put my son's picture in this video would anyone know how i could do this?
This is a great video! My sister died of leukemia last summer. The words in this video are true. Leukemia can conquer a body, but it will never conquer a soul.
My prayers are with you and your son. I hope you keep a record of everything on photo and video, to show everyone the hero your son and you really are. Please keep in touch with me and let me know how your son is doing.
aww thankyou soo much. honestly this video actually inspired me to start a photo album/journal of his journey today. it's amazing to see how long he's come. god bless you and thank you again!!
There is a young saint named Danny George who suffered from ALL for 2 1/2 years and died in November 1996. He was gifted during his life and received many special favors from the Blessed Mother and Jesus. His life story told by his mother is very touching. I will send it to anyone who desires to read a moving story of faith, hope and love. Just e-mail me at jmjriz (an aol address).
aww that made me cry i made a build-a-bear and it was a special one that had patches on it and it gave a dollar of my purchase to childrens cancer and i picked out a purple heart so another dollar can go to it. I wanna make a MILLION MORE!!!!
All these children are beautiful and unique. I want to help those remaining out so if anyone has any ideas about how that is possible, please let me know.
2. Get tested to be on the Bone Marrow Donor list so maybe you will one day be a bone marrow donor for someone fighting cancer
3. Take NEW (because of germs) stuffed animals or some other comforting thing to a children's hospital to give to cancer patients. It will bring a smile to faces and let them know someone cares.
If you need any other ideas, or if you have some for me, let me know!
hello, i ll pray for those kids , cancer is not a disease , is a genetic state of cells and it is cause by the patient lifestyle , you can prevent it by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables , leting the sun rays to hit you once a day for 5mins so vitamin-D is produce in your body and pls stop eating procesed food becasue most of it is made with a pretroleum kinf of fat called margarine and do not eat hydrogenated foods , give preference to natural food.
Hello espejel92. You suggested that ALL is caused by the patient's lifestyle. You are blaming the patient and the parents. I can assure you my 4 year old nephew did not get cancer by his lifestyle, or his entire family would have it. I believe you mean well but heaping blame on the victim and his/her family is very unhelpful.
My son Nick is finishing up two and a half years of treatment for ALL on June 15, 2007. I posted a slideshow of his first few months here at you tube. That's how I found this video.
This is a beautiful tribute to these children. You touched my heart!
One thing I wish you had mentioned is that ALL is one of the greatest cancer success stories ever in terms of cure rate- around 85-90% overall. A close friend had ALL in 'the bad old days' and was given a 20% chance of survival at age 15. He graduated from a top college, went on to get married and have 2 perfect children 'the old fashioned way' with his wife, and is now healthy and 42!
My 4-year-old daughter Elise was one of the 4,000 diagnosed in 2006. She's almost a year into her treatment, and she's doing well. Thank you for taking the time to make this beautiful video. It is touching, respectful, and lovely. Blessings!
i went through 2 1/2 years of chemo in high school for ALL so this song and video hits way too close to home. the song brings back some powerful memories. i cry every time i hear it. god bless.
I hope you continue in good health. These kids taught me something too, that I will never waste a moment of my life. Thanks for the great comment! keep in touch with me.
These children are beautiful no matter what age they are. They all have a goodand wonderful heart. I know God loves them very much and he would do anything good for them. There is a hope in the future for them all.

We don't believe in an impersonal God, but rather one who wants us to know how much He cares. The bible says that not one bird falls from the sky without the Father knowing about it..." How much more important we are, that He will hear our cries and prayers....The bible is a love letter, from God to us.
stevesilvia 9 months ago
Bible's love.I can quote from memory a dozen horrific verses from the bible that would make a sociopath blush. You know what I'm talking about. So what you've done is build up your own bible, kickin' out the sick stuff that you just can't rationalize, like when god send two bears to tear apart 42 children for mocking some guy. How's that for god's divine love?
I tell you, I'd hate to see god's hate letter. I'm sorry to have to say this but you're probably better than your so-called god, silvia.
x2thay 9 months ago
@x2thay the Father gives us stories, to help us understand and know Him better. Each story has a lesson to learn.
stevesilvia 9 months ago
@stevesilvia So all mighty god couldn't think of anything better than rape stories? Child killing stories?Mass murder stories? Gruesome spectacles stories? It make me genuinely sad that you, a grown up person, would be comfortable with such a monster. I think we're done.
x2thay 9 months ago
@x2thay you came here with a message, that you do not understand the bible. Give an example and we can explain it.
stevesilvia 9 months ago
@stevesilvia Sure, I'd like that, Silvia.
2 Kings (2:23-24)
God sends two bears to rip up 42 little children for making fun of Elisha's bald head. And by 'rip up' I mean the bears feaster upon the children's bloody flesh until death.
Just how do you get around that one?
x2thay 9 months ago
@x2thay The purpose of the story, is about the ancient war of good vs bad. The good of course is Elisha the prophet, and the bad is the group of people attacking him. It is only a story, as told in those days B.C....Remember that as movies are today, stories were in those days, the more dramatic, the more people would listen. (kind of like watching Terminator 2)

If you need any other ideas, or if you have some for me, let me know!

hello, i ll pray for those kids , cancer is not a disease , is a genetic state of cells and it is cause by the patient lifestyle , you can prevent it by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables , leting the sun rays to hit you once a day for 5mins so vitamin-D is produce in your body and pls stop eating procesed food becasue most of it is made with a pretroleum kinf of fat called margarine and do not eat hydrogenated foods , give preference to natural food.
espejel92 4 years ago
Hello espejel92. You suggested that ALL is caused by the patient's lifestyle. You are blaming the patient and the parents. I can assure you my 4 year old nephew did not get cancer by his lifestyle, or his entire family would have it. I believe you mean well but heaping blame on the victim and his/her family is very unhelpful.
