I note that when he was seeking approval of his nomination to be US Representative to the UN, John Bolton was willing to support the Bush Administration's advocacy for Senate Advice and Consent to join the Convention. At that time, he did not view the Convention as being a problem sufficient for him to refuse to support it. It would be good for him now to note whether he has changed his position since his nomination or whether his opposition is situational, depending on his own interests.
