@2000ADELMO You can, but different frames have different maximum wheels sizes for the inside and outside spots. If you ever have any questions about product or skating in general, feel free to call us up at 1-800-772-2502 and ask for me ( Hirt ) or Andy, and either of us would be glad to help you out.
Me haz a question, I have THAT blue Xsjado Mook frame, and Its my first time grinding with skates. Is it ok for me to use those or do i have to spend another 40-60 dollars for another one?
4-Down all day, every day! Yes, anti-rocker and freestyle are easier and better for grinding... But I think riding flat keeps some of the integrity of the sport, not to mention that it demands discipline in my grinding. If I'm not locked on just right... It lets me know it, which also ensures that I stay low and compact.
i already knew what the set ups meant and have skated all starting with the flats back in the day and i can tell you that for making all of the helpful videos i will go out of my way to purchase from your shop. there are so many new skaters out their buying without really knowing the style it skates
i wonder...is it a viable option to buy anti-rocker setup to begin with, then simply remove the anti-rocker wheels when you feel comfortable and "convert" to freestyle? this way you save money until you wear your frame out enough to buy a proper freestyle frame. also, what is best for urban travel? like, a city with a ton of various obstacles to jump over, grind across, and get to where you're going without much getting in your way
Back in the 90s we only had a flat setup with virtually no space between the two middle wheels. We were still able to hit ledges and handrails smoothly. I've never ridden anti-rockers but I don't imagine it'd be easy to ride down stairs with them. Sometimes you needed to bail out off of a ledge or rail and ride the stairs. I still prefer a flat setup.
You didn't explain Tri-rocker. That's the one I'm confused out. I'm trying it right now, but i just want to know if there's any benefits of riding tri.
@RollingTV I'm also a beginner and was wondering can you just put anti rocker wheels in a regular frame? I have the bladerunner fury aggressive skates and was wondering if I could just put anti rocker wheels into them or should i buy anti rocker frames?
There is generally no difference between a "flat" frame and an "anti-rocker" frame, design wise. Some frames are designed to be used with a flat setup, but will still work very well with an anti-rocker setup. Examples would be, Kizer Slimline or the Kizer Element (which can actually be converted to any style). Of course freestyle frames can only be used as freestyle.
i rly like roller wearhouse i just wish they would deliver to the u.k :(

you dont need a grove imo :)
riding freestyle for years .. it just comes with time when you buy a new frame, the rest is balance!

Flat is best for big gaps, transitions and vert, anti rocker is best for rails, and freestyle is best for ledges.

what is the best for a beginer who wants to learn how to grind
BBBMXbbbmx 1 year ago
@BBBMXbbbmx Either anti-rocker or freestyle would be best for learning how to grind. I'd probably start with an anti-rocker setup if I were you.

personally i pick antirocker because it makes it easier to grind ledges without touching your wheel. also on rails they make you feel more steady
