  • Man, I really thank you for this video! I already had the iTunes version of TB09 but never cared about the original hardware release. When I saw this video and especially the book! I knew I wanted this! And I got! And I am not a big MO fan! But TB is really special and this release is even more special! Among the boxes from Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, The Prodigy and the Beatles, this is my fifth box set from 2009 and gets a special place! Thanx again bro'!

  • nice song

  • Real freakie sounding score!!! I remember Linda Blairs head doin' a 360...boy it scared the shit out of me way back when!!!LOL

  • Why does no one write stuff like this nowadays? The nearest I've come to finding for instrumental concept albums is Automaton by Lee Davey on cdbaby, nice to see some musicians not following the norm!

  • Some years ago Oldfield was in one interview wondering, why do people call it a "concept album" and what exactly is the supposed "concept".

    Good question actually. ;-)

  • Enigma, Eras, Jarre, Kitaro,

  • Haha! Oh yes to umpack this is in fact still better than undress the most attractive woman!!

  • how much this compete? where have to bay?

  • When I find it available in my area, I'm going to get it. I bought the original album back in the 1970's. It's still in my possession and still playable - IF I still had a turntable. I love the idea of being able to hear it more often. I am truly amazed at his musical ability. Surely, either Mozart and/or Bach have been reborn through him. I love Tubular Bells. Always have, and always will!

  • Ultimate! :)

  • I used to love the smell of a new LP and it's sleeve.

  • curious... what instrument(s) play that loud, piercing hit you hear every so often in the melody? and what chord is that??

  • Lowrey organ. A minor

  • @sidbolero because the farisfa organ had clicks ;-) he couldn't use that one

  • 3:12 Cool picks .:P

  • 素晴らしい!!久し振りに感動しました!!

  • I don't read english. Read slowly with the dictionary.

  • Nice coverage! Did you read the book yet?
