For me, kung fu is the best martial art on earth, cause it's like a big family , there's a lot of fighting ways , fists, styles, different stances, so you can learn a lot of diffrent things in only 1 martial art.

Kung Fu is the true martial art, the rest is bullshit. And i don't understand how someone can learn anything different than this awesome art. the rest are just common punches and kicks that anyone can do , so there's no reason to learn something that i already know.

@BtwinUnW they're (sammo hung and ip chun) are basically saying donnie's wing chun, even though he had no wing chun training before, is great. he employs the basics of wing chun very well and there are little to no negative things to point out about his technique. donnie yen is very serious, he even learnt about ip man's family life and lost weight for his role.

But I have to say, everyone says that donnie yen was really good, that he made a really good job in Ip Man 1 and 2, so why is Ip Chun dissing him in a interview of Ip Man 3. There are just a few people who likes Ip Man 3 but just A FEW. Ip Man 1&2 rocks with donnie yen but only because its DONNIE YEN who plays Ip Man. That is what I think. Donnie Yen is the BEST :D

i find this interview somewhat controversial to what ip chun says about ip man: legend is born, in there he says he prefers dennis to because he is an actual wing chun practitioner rather than learning wing chun just for making a movie and he also says often in the filming of ip man donnie yen would use styles which are not wing chun T.T either way imo donnie yen will be the best ip man!

most "combat"systems are merely sports nowadays...you cant hit there, you cant use that...and so on...but nothing wrong with krav maga, im talking about karate, tkd,...stuff like that...wing chun is for defense only, you use it to get out of a situation or even survive...too many styles are just limitid in their options...at least thats what i think ^^

But one who are exposed to many style (mma) will have a better chance of winning. say for example, if a wing chun master is put to the ground, he's done pretty much. having varieties help. plz, understand the concept before you start snapping back at me.

Basically, the director, Sammo Hung, and the son of Ip Man said Donnie Yen was a good actor. He had successfully shown the audience how Wing Chun is supposed to be like, and even close to perfect... And Ip Man's son even said Yen acted like his father. :P He felt his father was still alive. haha... well, something like that... some compliments on Yen. Personally, I think Yen is really good.
