The prior year's show, also broadcast, was better. Derek was in excellent voice and they premiered Heart and Soul.

I first saw Ted at the Silverdome. The Romantics--Nugent--Foghat & Aerosmith. Ted was still small time back then, but great! I saw him many times afterward, a lot of awesome shows! I went to see his show this June in Phoenix. They're out as a trio & I was embarrassed for him & left 40 mins into the show.....
