I love her but I hate the sickled feet. Luckily it's not as bad as Rebecca Bross but it ruins the line on bars. I love her originality though.

I am not a huge follower of gymnastics, but I watched every bit of the olympics on gymnastics and I have to admit even though I am an american she should have won. I'm not saying the others were not great gymnasts but I just felt like she deserved it, not to mention a couple of the experts agreed she did fantastic. Not to mention, she is way cute, and was a good sport to the other gymnasts.

The way she works on bars is absolutely gorgeous, with her transitions and hands on her pirouettes. It's taken He Kexin another 2 years from the olympics to get form like hers.

@msms68 well think about it like this, the gymnasts who placed in the top 4 all had a 7.7 SV or higher. At worlds nobody had higher than a 7.4 SV so that's why ksenia won. Plus she never upgraded her routine so she was at a disadvantage from the start so it probably would not have been possible for her to place. She's a great gymnast and very innovative though. I just wished she had upgraded her routine for the olympics, she would have definitely placed if she did.

If she connected the deltchev to the pak, 17.5

if she did the tkatchev to giant 1.5 to jaegar. 17.6

If she did In Bar 1.5 to Jaegar, 17.8

i think she's better! she actually has the body type of a classic gymnast which means she can fly around like the other little ones

She's the only gymnast in the world to perform a handstand after her release. Her dismount is epic too.

Because she's the only gymnast who has enough rotation after a release move to perform a giant (she introduced the Tchachev-full), because she's the only gymnast in the world who performs a Deltchev and because she's the only among the 8 finalists who doesn't do a D dismount. At last but not least, she's amazingly consistent (a big achievement on its own, even greater if we bear in mind she's Russian)!
