@forktounge Oh, that's not Illya. That's from...I think it's the Minus X Affair. They catch Thrush agents stealing from a lab. It's just the quick editing that makes it confusing. (But it's a good episode. It has some rather funny moments between the boys.)

I guess most know, but there's a great high quality vid of Illya on ytube....it's called "Man from UNCLE - The Russian Angel Affair " Have a look & please report back to say what U think. It's posted by a girl called serenaar. YOUNG women talk about how attractive McCallum is today ! Back in the 60's he was one of THE major hearthrobs. My sis was completely crazy for him. MGM reported that he got much more fan mail than any other major star they had ever had.

Oh, and speaking as someone who (no offense) doesn't really care for Sonny and Cher, I think the current music is great! It fits the pace really well. If you didn't re-edit, then it does a superb job fitting with the scene changes as well.

I just received The Man From U.N.C.L.E-The Complete series as a Christmas gift. Its really wonderful to see this series after many years. My first experience in watching the series dated by the late 70's and in Spanish, so I'm glad I have the opportunity to see the show in its original English. All the special features are great, specially the interviews with David and Robert. I love both characters both my boy was Napoleon Solo. Love the hug at the end.

The hug from the end is from an episode of The A-Team both of them were in, which is pretty terrible to be honest, but you know has both of them in it, hugging/ tryingtokilleachiother, the usual sort of thing.
