Super Mario RPG All Hidden Treasure Boxes

Thank you for posting this video. Does that monster in Monstro Town that tells you how many hidden treasures are left say anything different once you found all the hidden treasures?

When I played this fifteen years ago, I was able to find 'em all (thanks to the signal ring) except Box #1 of course and always wondered what that monster said if you found them all. If you could respond and let me know, that would be awesome!

Ya really have to wonder if it was a glitch that prevents you from getting the first one at a later time, even though there's always a Toad NPC standing right there after getting the first star. Probly did it on purpose to be dicks.

for some reason even if you go back to mushroom kingdom and stand on toad's head again you wont be able to get up there to get that first secret chest if you missed it the first time. sux...

In Monstro Town keep talking to the Thwomp behind the second door until the key falls down outside. About seven times or something should be enough.

Monstro Town! Make the chomp jump up and down and it falls down for you to get it

You get the key by going to Lands End (where Bowser meets a Goomba who sells him things), and going into the room with the thwomp and getting him to bounce (talk to him) about 8 times. Then the key will have fallen down outside. Also, you have to get the fortune that goes something like "I'm sorry, but I'm not accepting visitors past my bedtime", to get to the Belome statue (Talk to the Belome statue to feed him the key). If that's not your fortune, exit and return to the room until that is.

There really should have been a reward for finding all the hidden chests in the game, I see the chest in Monstro Town counting how many are left to find and when I returned all I get was a simple congratulations message imagine how upset I was when I went back to discover there was nothing you even get for finding all the chests. *2bcont.*

perhaps someone could answer this... In monstro town, there is a "chow" enemy who bets that mario can do 30 jumps in a row... what does this mean? and what, if any, prize is there?

It's referring to super jumps that Mario does. If you can get him to do more than 30 consecutive super jumps (as in in casting the super jump spell once) you will get a nice reward in return (really useful). What the chow doesn't mention is that if you can get 100 or better, you will get the best armor in the game. Call me a liar if you want, but no exaggeration here

Excuse Me, but isn't the Lazy Shell armor the best armor in the game? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the armor you're talking about after doing those Super Jumps the second best armor? I've just heard that, I'm not calling you a liar just saying what I've heard.

Well, I don't believe that's true. If you've managed to obtain the Lazy Shell armor, you'll notice when you go to equip it on someone that while the defense and special defense increase dramatically. However, both attack and special attack take a plunge as a result (think about it... heavy armor. Hurts mobility but makes you safer). The Super Jacket/Suit (I've heard it by both names) is an overall increase. You definitely get your bang for your buck

No there isn't. They block that ledge after that scene, even if you can get another toad to get near it. It happened to me.

You can only get box 1 in the begging of the game and 27 is near box 26 in the next area
