Well, BTMI! wasn't quite as refined, or as "ska" (whatever that means) as ASOB. Jeff's kind of tired of it, I think, as his newer albums aren't heavy on the ska minor's/horns. Different strokes. I do enjoy ASOB alot more, fucking shame they broke up.

I remember standing in front of the stage for this one...with my friends screaming out these words with the crowd....Honestly, I will always have respect for those boys...I've heard some amazing things about the things they do and do not agree to...hearing all of that...really makes me respect them more than any other band i've ever met...they stay true to the music..to the fans... I seriously can't really get into BTMI's sound..it's just not really for me.

It's kind of a weird basis of comparison. ASOB is really fun and fast ska-punk, whereas BTMI is really fun and fast music in general. BTMI covers more bases and does it better than any other band covers only two.
