@Silverblaze72x Im not sure what you mean so lets take for example, a bottle of soda. You open the bottle and the bottle shoots off what looks like smoke. Whats happening is, the gases in the soda bottle are under so much pressure when you twist the cap off you releave the pressure which causes the gas to expand quickly, this rapid expansion causes the gas to turn into a vapour that you can see, eventually the the gas disperces in the air and it becomes a gas you cant see.

how can u waste water? It will just evaporate again, and condense, and precipitate. No way to waste it. Of course, it needs to be cleaned again once it hits the ground before it can be tap water...

@daygamer56 No becuz the water vapour in the bottle is already hot enough to change into water vapour. Heating up the water vapour wouldnt do anything. To make it rain in the bottle you would have to cool the bottle down, slowing the water molecules down causing them to condence back into water again.

At my school, we're required to have graphs for our science fair projects, how would I graph this because this seems like a really good idea...

@Toshiro7892 Another graph hey your school really wants you to work hard to win that science fair haha. Ahhh lets see hmmmmm this is a tough one haha... I supose you could graph how thick the cloud was after you left the cap off the bottle for 1sec 2secs 3secs 4secs and so on untill a cloud doesnt form anymore. It would show the longer you leave the cap off the less water vapour would stay in the bottle thus forming a thinner cloud untill theres just not enough water vapour in the bottle anymore

hey , nice vid , doing this for my science fair project , do you put the piece of paper inside the bottle of just try to contain the smoke within the bottle by putting the paper inside then removing it ?

@xDamiian Im ganna suggest an easier way of doing this same experiment becuz I used a lighter in this sci file for comedic effect. Use a match instead of the lighter/paper & then you can just drop the match in the bottle & not have to worry about lighting paper & collecting smoke. Also make sure when you empty the water from the bottle that you screw on the top quickly to keep the water vapour in the bottle. Only open it to put a blown out match inside. Good luck with your science fair =^D
