Swoopy wooden clock

it seems like if there is a fixed number of gears with fixed proportions that you can acurrately get a frame of the design to follow a certain range of 2nd or even 3rd degree curves. id like to find this range out somehow

Was it hard to do or can anyone buy the plans and make one no stress?

It takes a modicum of skill. If you can operate a scroll saw, and have some reudamentary wood working skill, then you can make one of these clocks. I wouldn't start with the swoopy as the escapement can be a bit tricky for a first-timer. However, something like Ctayton Boyer's "Simplicity" would be perfect.

Classic "grasshopper" escapement. Very nice to look at, and silent (no chute)
