  • oh, my bad. Get those other P's involved. I like to pull up a backing track on Youtube (you can select any key you want) and play those scales along with it.

  • @mxdrmn Mm true. I have a lot of fun just jammin out. Throw in some accidentals, bends, and other embellishments to give it a little personality. I should play over a jam track more often, and I like to use the looper to record a couple bars to play over

  • @mxdrmn /watch?v=Z5efHBI44H8&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL is a much better jam mostly on pentatonics using some better tone and recording quality :)

  • You got some chord progressions going on. I noticed when you start picking individual notes, you tend to pick the notes of chords (more or less). I recently had a HUGE musical break-through. I learned the pentatonic scale. Its real easy, just five patterns and each pattern is only 2 notes per string so times 6 thats 12 notes per pattern times 5 patterns thats 60 notes. You can use these same 5 patterns for every key on the guitar. Learn them, practice them and you will freak at how far they go.

  • @mxdrmn I am using the pentatonic :P I sometimes turn it into chords.
