  • Saw these Freshmen sing this in Portsmouth UK in the 60's. I'd waited over 10 years for the chance, so it was a great thrill for me. Also I hadn't realised they were also such good musicians. To top it all the other half of the show was...... June Christy. "It don't get no better than that1"

  • fantastic song, even though pretty damn chauvinistic.

  • which album is this from?

  • Bobby Troup, combat Marine, doing what he does best, writing a great witty ballad. Get this one at the Butler University Stan Kenton Album with June Christy.... a total high water mark.

  • Who is the tool that disliked?

  • Their arrangements were THE BEST!!

  • SMOOTH!

  • This is so fabulous, what a great song, what a great version, dishing the dirt with the Girls.......I've got goose bumps on my goose bumps...A CLASSIC

  • the Tony bennett is another the best !

  • I heard the 70's Freshmen group sing this. I got to chat with Bob Flanigan that night. He recently passed away.

  • This particular rendition sounds more like the great original group than any of the newer groups I have heard. Great harmony.
