While many fans may be upset because of the amount of material that was taken out, changed, or added, everyone should still see this. If you like Greek mythology, then you have to check this movie out. The final battle was awesome.The same could be said about the battles against Medusa and the Hydra.

The movie, compared to the books, was awful. They totally bastardized the plot, leaving out key elements, leaving absolutely nothing for Sea of Monsters.. I hope they don't make it, but I think they will. XP they're going to have a LOT of explaining to do if they end up making Sea of Monsters, though.. they didn't even give Thalia's tree a mention! They didn't even LOOK at it! And they made Hades the villain?! WHY.
the movie sucked, it ditched a lot of the actual happening of the book, I can understand that movies can't put EVERYTHING from the book into them, but they put stuff in it that made me facepalm. I made it about 1/4 through the movie before I left the theater, i watched it on DvD at a friend of mine's house, and we stopped at around the hotel scene where they escape by car, and started watching Shawn of the Dead, which is much more entertaining.
The movie was wack when compared to the book. The movie deviated WAY too much from the book. I don't want to spoil anyone but there is a reason why Percy Jackson needed to be 12 in the movie. Characters that play a major part in the books weren't even mentioned in the movie. No mention of the God Ares. It was just average.

i saw the movie, i read 2 book 3 and still going. the books are WAY better than the movie. But i loved the movie, so i give it a 9 on a scale from 1-10. the books on a scale from 1-10, i would give it about an 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000!

Do NOT waste your time seeing this movie. They completely ripped off the book, adding characters and monsters that shouldn't have been there, and leaving out important characters while they were at it. I hope they don't keep making these movies.

I'm a huge fan of the books, but I thought the movie was pretty good. I had long sense accepter the fact that the movie would be a billion times different than the books, as I always do, and as a movie it's self, I thought it was pretty good. I definitely don't think it was as bad as what people say it was... And I just realized that I've managed to see that movie 8 times, at least.

Ron would be black. Hermione would have dark red hair. Voldamore would be nice. Hagred would not exist. Draco would help harry and them. the stone would be way to easy to get.
