Just out of interest...why, in the subtitles, was the word "agus" (and) missed out? The Donegal dialect is interesting...more different to Munster than I was expecting! She pronounces some words quite differently to what I (a learner) am used to...
I do love her music and she is a great person; my mother is friends with her :-).
For anyone who wishes to learn the language. Best of luck, not a task to undertake lightly! It is well-worth it though. Makes the spelling of Siobhán make sense :-)!
Missed this interview somehow, glad I find it now - thank you for posting it! For some reason I find it very striking hearing Moya (and Cormac) speaking in Irish, even though I am so used to hearing her singing it! Come to think of it, Gaelic has evolved in my mind as only a sung language - never realised that before. Great interview and lovely to see her charity work too - go Moya!
