  • Can anyone tell me would the wrx out run the legacy gt!

  • I live in Singapore and the Legacy GT only comes in automatic. WHY?? It doesn't make sense to me cos why would Subaru do this to us? I'm dying for a manual transmission. The Legacy GT is very versatile, good for family day out and the occasional adrenaline rush.

  • In Saudi arabia , u can get it with 5 speed automatic transmission with steering-wheel gear pedals , and carbon fiber instead of wood

  • In Ukraine and Russia 2.5GT is available with 5speed automatic.I have one)

  • did anyone notice the weird ass irish music at the end of the video? what was that?

  • i love subaru but i don like this

  • It has tons of power and handling but only comes in Manual. Yes I know manual is better for fun but I would have liked it in Automatic as well

  • @BaronvonRichthofen Automatics don't really fit hand in hand with performance. I think that if this model was offered in an alternative automatic transmission, it would probably detract from Subaru's rep. Lol manual is funner anyways.

  • cost?

As much as G37 sedan if equipped simmilarly.

  • A 2010 Infinity G37x with nav is over 45K. A legacy GT with nav is 38k in canada. 7000k is not even close

  • how about g37 base to gt base then??

    38k vs 38k

    I will go with G37.;)

  • you don't get awd with the base g37 and no nav. it's a big price difference. g37 is certainly a good car, but I need more room and I find the g37 very narrow inside. more luxury in the g37, but for an extra 7-8k, I'd expect better material, seats ect. For everyday driving, fun factor and amazing performance i'd take the 2.5gt and actually get through the canadian winter with sweating every time there is snow. I've been there. Now I look forward to snow!

  • Yeh, price difference is huge but my point is Legacy GT has no attraction with that pricing. This is why Legacy GT doesn't sell well. Also, Subaru dealerships are not flexible about their price but Infiniti is different. My 2005 Legacy GT was 41k+tax(no discount and bonus) and my new G37S was 44+tax(discount and bonus). New GT got better pricing and options though. For everyday driving, fun factor and performance, G37 is much better, no comparison please. I am in Vancouver, rarely see snow.

  • I got 2500 dollars off the legacy GT with very little effort. It's 2010, not 2005. company these days will discount their cars. Infinity is a nice car. However, I'd rather keep my 7000k. How can you compare a car that leases for 800/month for a car that leases for 565/month. I want an awd car for the winters and I like the subaru brand and love the turbo engines. Enjoy the infinity! I'll enjoy my 2.5GT. btw, for 385/month I leased a base wrx. 2 cars for price of one infinity

  • you are really bad at math there.....LMAO

One more comment on Subaru engine... it consumes almost same gasoline as my current g37s. man...huge power difference.....not a bad engine..but

I would expect more power or better mileage.

and its "INIFINI" not "INFINITY". I really reccomnd you to watch Insideline's review. ITs not like this poor review.

  • You're turning this into a grammar issue? Infinity is the correct spelling. I'm not sure what you're talking about. "its" is incorrect grammar - "it's". Insert apostropy. 0-60 time is 5.6 for the 2.5gt and 5.6 for the g37. For 7000k i'd expect faster for the G37 sedan. My calculus skills and math are quite strong actually. Sorry, you're so defensive. I think the G37 is a great car. If you don't like the legacy, that's cool. But, legacy is as fast as G37 and has awd and is bigger. ltr

  • I think MrMichyo pointed out that Infiniti is a car brand name. It is not a grammar issue. Funny thing is the price comparison. 7k difference is huge but how can you get WRX with that 7k????? Both are good cars though.

  • My brother has a 2009 G37 with nav, sport package and pays just over 800 for his lease. I was just saying that my wrx is 385 per month and my legacy is 565 per month. Merely saying that for 950/month I have 2 new cars.

  • haha nice math~

I have G37s and my friend gave Ferrari to me for free!~

I pay $800 per month for G37s and ferrari haha~~

I never say Legacy is bad car but it is not perfect as you think or this reviewer think. Please try to drive your bros car and feel it so that you can understand what I am saying. Btw, where did you get Legacy GT with $2500 discount?? Toronto? Montreal?

  • @MrMichyo The legacy is definitly not perfect. But thats why I like it. Call me sentimental :)

  • i love that subarus have manual trans it is the best

  • This series of videos are really well produced, edited, scripted and delivered. Very nice job, OnCars!

My wife can't/won't drive a manual box, but I here the 3.6L with gobs of torque, blipping contrrol and paddleshifters will help me get my yayas out....

  • 265Hp ! Wooo !

oh subaru known for there AWD not putting it in would be a mistake.

AWD is awesome. no matter what the weather i must have AWD.

  • You beat me to it! XD

I absolutely adore the fact that the performance-oriented 2.5GT is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission :D

I've test driven a 2010 Legacy 2.5GT. Very well composed, yet the turbocharged boxer engine has torque all over the rev range! Shame it has an electronic parking brake, no more young-gun hairpin drifts XD

But that all the more reflects on the new Legacy's "grown-up" theme.

  • @AWDfreak u are totally right dude one of the most things i don't like about these days cars is the electronic E-brake too bad :(
