@metalskateboarder965 - I generally use 3mm MDF ... you could use foamcore, cardboard, matt board etc .. but I find MDF is suitable for most projects. I cut mine using a hand held jigsaw ... you can pick up MDF from any home depot store, as well as cheap jigsaw
Hey man have you tried using tree bark to make rocks? Ive tried it recently and its really cool because you can stack them and glue them, creating awsome, natural looking and very convincing rock formations. I know it sounds odd but i think im going to leave out bases for my rocks so i can maybe get a number of possible positions, perhaps even a rugged mountain range. You could even build your very own Ayres Rock lol
@2shredornot2shred - aye .. tree bark can make some awesome looking rock formations. On the Aryes rock thing, I recently completed a commission that was requested by a kid and his father - as part of a school project!! Lazy buggers :)
can u do a battle report of lord of the rings, im an amateur and would like to watch how you play. also in ur videos wen u sell lotr models u talk about commission, what is commission and its benefits?
@joniboii10 - I havent played many games of LOTR so battle reports might be a little tough right now. As for 'commission' ... basically that means someone asks me to do a job for them (ie, paint some figures or build some scenery), and I do that job and they pay me for it :-)
@RubbishInRubbishOut ohk thanks, im very interested in lotr and was just wondering if u cant make armies at a reasonable price, do u have a list of models and prices i can look at?
@RubbishInRubbishOut ohk thanks, well im interested in purchasing a lotr army, i live in australia, do u have a price list and models i can check out?

The foam I used was normal white expanded polystyrene ... not the hard extruded polystyrene. I had several sheets left over from a project I did a few years ago so just used some of that.
For these pieces I used normally white expanded polystyrene in the highest density they make before we move to extruded insulation polystyrene such as those made by Owens and Cornings etc.
G'day mate, sorry its taken a while to get back to you. I'd be happy to do some work for you, or sell you some of the stuff I've already done. Send me a Message and we can discuss. Thanks!
