I understand your design and how it is suppose to work, though sadly not to pop your bubble, but you will lose all your energy lifting the water with your squishing and you will lose energy as you convert it, so in affect, all the potential energy you stored in your invention will be consumed in its first revaluation, & there is no energy left to reset your machine.
If you live in the right place, you can make your self a water wheel, windmill or even a Stirling engine (if you know how to).
Have you been able to build a working model of this since you posted the video? I am a big supporter of real experimentation into alternative energy and I love seeing videos like this. But I'd like to point out a problem I noticed with your design. You have a good idea with the bellows and the rocking weight. Clearly the weight can squeeze water into the tank at the top, but what causes the weight to fall back and pull the water out at the bottom? I think you'll find that it can't be done.
You are a very amiable lady however I seem to be perplexed by the design of the device you are attempting to convey. Do you have more specifics? Is this working prototype or conceptual design?
i have seen perpetual motion machines come a long way since 2009... a good thought, but I think Newton is going to get you on this one....But I like the fact that you put it out there.
Neat thought, but I think this has been tried for years. Perpetual motion doesn't really lend itself well with liquids because like the capillary bowl. Without powering the pump from an outside source, the liquid is going to find a settling point.
Unfortunately, the amount of energy used to expel the water is equal to the energy need to retake the water. This creates a balance and so that any load applied will cause entropy, or drag on the engine. What you need to do is find a way to collect into a capacitor, the harvested electrical energy and use it force the devise to extract the water. In any case don't give up on your ideas.
But on my husbands behalf he likes the video it made him laugh but he didn't understand how it worked completely.Getting water to rise is a problem. The squeeze part made him laugh. But all seriousness never give up .
Everything need energy and ur taking 2 pounds give it 2 pounds back does nt work this way... a simple bearing needs energy for friction + creating energy meaning (LOAD)
EXAMPLE...
-jump in ur car
-start engine
-check rpm counter
NOW turn on the lights
-check rpm counter again
the slowing of the engine is the load coming from ur alternator under load...
Conclusion... stick some blades on that permanent magnet motor that u have and pray for wind :o)
Hi, I am a Diesel mechanic and what I see with your devide is a almost perpatual water pump nothing else. if you put a load(light a bulb) on your genarator you will lower speed of the falling water and result with a less effective squish so the water will be less and less pump toward the upper end of your device. Finaly you will need to recrank it. I concept a similar genarator but with a hand oparate winch to lift rocks and let it fall to spin a wheel to store energie but i have to recrank it.
a couple of things - firstly, because you are using the weight of the water this will not work in orbit as it is dependent on gravity. secondly the pressure of the water in the rocking tank would not allow the water in the box to flow into it. sorry :-( keep trying though because it's the little people that will save the planet.
This reminds me of Robert Fludds waterscrew perpetual motion machine in a closed system. Your closed system, just as his did, violates either the first law of thermodynamics or the second law of thermodynamics. Your device appears to suggest that perpetual motion may be possible, and in your case, when all of the relevant physics is considered the flaw will be found. You could use an outside source of power to move the tank(Ocean waves, solar power machine or a wind power device) back and forth.
The best thing to do would be actually going out and doing it :) Nothing shuts the nonbelievers like a working device that conquers their fears :) Something like the suburban homesteader community is doing, showing that you can feed your family from only 1/10th of an acre of land :)
That said, you do have a machine that strongly resembles a legitimate renewable energy producer. You should look into "tidal power", do some research, and see if you can adapt your machine to it. :)
The main side only has 2 lbs of water as you mention. So if the accordion has more than 2lbs of water it will not be filled by the main piece. Your design relies on the accordion having more than 2 lbs of water (in order to have enough weight to shift it back toward the device). Therefore your design would not work.
The water pressure from the full accordion piece would prevent the water at the bottom of the main piece of the device from flowing into the accordion piece. In order for this to work, you'd need to have greater water pressure on the main side.
The people here are giving you a hard time and that's a shame. It's neat to see everyday people expand their horizons and learn and invent! Your device looks pretty cool, but I don't think it would work. I understand that the water would indeed flow into the device when the "accordion" piece is full of water. Gravity controls that. Unfortunately gravity is also the reason your device would not produce net power.
@arbonac Throw it in the ocean or sea, see it sink, if you wish, build a boat and harvest from the teeter tooter of your boat rather ! I cant explain it fully ! without saying that my project lacks reinforcements, pulleys and is only my 1%. Come again XX
"Any proposed perpetual motion design offers a potentially instructive challenge to physicists: one is almost completely certain that it can't work,so one must explain how it fails to work. The difficulty (and the value) of such an exercise depends on the subtlety of the proposal; the best ones tend to arise from physicists' own thought experiments and often shed light upon certain aspects of physics."wikipedia.
A hydraulic ram water pump would not work if a bellow were added because the surge would be dampened. I believe in such devices a sonic waves does work..
You have shown an ability to visualize some complex mechanical systems.
I would'nt wan't to get my finger pinched in the wobbly thing
Of course more than 80% of the overunity devices published in the web maybe false or tricked and less than 20% original and true.
I am afraid that the fate of overunity devices may well be like the history of the magnetic needle compass: It was used for centuries by the Chinese and others, before Maxwell came with his equations of electromagnetism, the discovery of electrons, and earth's magnetic field, and gave an adequate explanation
You may have figured it by now : Neutral or = weight, is used to do that, also the way the weight is distributed in the pushing / squish device = - energy used. Pulleys ( # = 4 ) also brings the light drop container back up, when empty !
Good Luck & send me a regular 0.0001 % $ when you have made $ on it.
The weight of fifteen lb is distributed properly within the unit, to not fully weigh on the moving it back up, yet be efficient for the squish forward. The two pounds (= scale of this particular size design ) is only heavy going down freely (= less friction going down when, attaching to roller blade type wheels) & on the way up, it is empty, again, costing little in energy to bring it back up if made in the lightest of materials.
If that did not answer you properly, please call here again. X
I like you passion, but I really believe the energy it takes to return the 15 lb weight to the up position will be equal to the weight in water it can lift to the top. You'll have to do some experiments, if you can tip the heavy weight back by the two lbs droping and its enough to squish the water back to the top you have solved the problem of perpetual motion. I'll check back with you
Thumbs up if your smart enough to know that this is stupid.
