@Panigg I'm learning Spanish. :P Spanish is the easiest, or German. I can't decide. Do you think a Middle Eastern language like Persian would be hard to speak? I only know a little bit in Spanish and German, but more in Spanish and when I become fluent en Espanol I'll move on to either Deutsch or Farsi.

Well, for one thing, not all PhD grads can make a bomb anyway...who's to say he would have wanted to cause death and destruction? And comedy--laughter, really--is something that unites people. Kind of like music, but perhaps less deeply. Bombing people and violence against one another is kinda going against God's will, I would think.

For another thing, it's perfectly within his rights to give up the Ph.D.  It's not necessarily bad to end one's education, if one finds something better.
