  • "OH SHITE! That's not right." lol

  • That was AWESOME.

  • Err, i didnt catch the mishap?

  • Singingstar79, the people who "light" those are far, far away out of harms danger, they aren't up there close with lighters and then running away! Educate yourself before you make yourself look ignorant in front of everyone.

  • LOL, you guys were close judging from the explosion to sound time period...from where I was we couldn't see the bridge and thought the show was just cut way, way back.

  • God Damn i didn't know that happened i live on the east side of tulsa i was lighting my own fireworks damn wish i coulda been there

  • the fire works are sweet i live in tulsa the rain kinda scared me i whanted to see fireworks but good thing it cleerd

  • I was watching those. My mother thinks that the rain earlier had something to do with it because the truck was there days before. Even before the mishap, a lot of the fireworks looked like duds because the ones from last year were much better. Too bad that it ruined two thirds of the show.

  • I doubt the rain had anything to do with it. The trucks were covered in tarps until about an hour before the show. I watched the crew remove them. It commonly rains on the 4th before the show and this hasn't happened before. You can't really compare it to last year as this was the first time Tulsa has used this company.

  • Ultimately, it happened because the whole thing deals with explosives. Accidents are bound to happen. All that can be done is prepare as safely as possible and hope that nothing goes wrong since, once the show is under way, there's not a whole lot that can be done. The crew of this show obviously did that very well because no one was hurt. I agree, it was a shame to miss most of the show after waiting 3 hours in the heat for it to start.

  • OHHHHH McNasty, how it be man, these comments are getting interesting and hilarious all in the same, anyway good video by the way got some good shots, i think i win first comment that hasnt slammed you, well nevermind, Suck It!!!!

  • Kiefer is a small town of about 1000 people and the fireworks show is always the best around. July 3rd is the show every year. Oil money pays for it. First oil well in OK was in Glenpool and Kiefer sits right next to it.

  • I was standing next to the water at 25th and Riverside and we were totally confused by what happened. I was taking pics through the trees, so my view of the bridge was slightly obstructed, but I got a picture of some of the smoke. It was so loud!

  • I have seen him shoot a 10,000 dollar show (at our church) that was amazing! And they were shooting off of trailers on the bridge, I hear one traler was destroyed, I havent talked to him personally to find out all the details yet!

  • This fireworks show was being shot by a close friend of mine, who works for the pyrotech company that was hired for this show, I got word of the explosion yesterday morning, a 5" diameter shell fired in the tube, causing of course a chain reaction, it actually sent fireworks straight at the guys, luckily they were behind a concrete barrier, so no one was injured, too bad this happened, and cut the show early, I was told it was around a 45,000 dollar show,

  • i agree with the girl in the video the keifer show was alot better from the get go....small town BIG show

  • After hearing about the explosion, it didn't look that bad on the video. From the way everybody were acting made it sound like it was a big deal. Rhema was better and longer then River parks. Ha.

  • You might check but I think Fox23 stole your video for their 9pm news. The had courtesy of Youtube posted on it was all. Hopefully they contacted you first for permission.

  • I posted links on channels 2 and 8 since I couldn't find any way to send them the video directly. The only one to contact me was channel 2. I took them the actual original video for 10pm news. Thanks for looking out, though!

  • Should have sold it to them, they probably would have paid since they didn't have their own video of it.

  • That looks so intense up close!! I'm glad no one was hurt! We were pretty far away and had no idea what happened!

  • same here....i thought the show was rather short and didn't know what happened until we got home.

  • Wow, we were standing over at 34th and Riverside and we wondered why the show was cut short. We were joking around that the show was going to be short and that the spectacular blast at the end was the finale, and sure enough, it was. Thanks for sharing the video. Now I got to see it up close and personal. LOL

  • Woop! 4:47 <3

  • We didn't know it started early so we got there at like 9:05 and then the fire happend so we didn't get to see that much of the show :(

  • As soon as the lightning started popping they turned off the lights and started the show. It only went for about 10 minutes but the explosion was worth it!
